I don't dislike you Mat, I think you're hilarious. Because of your need for attention and acceptance I've seen a few pictures of you and I'm as white as you are, except for your rosy cheeks (a result of excess cider consumption?). I'm also taller than you but who isn't? The unemployment comment is a classic given your posting history.
Don't worry about me chunks, If posting on this forum is a gauge of how lost and lonely the participants are then there are lots of tragic cases far worse than me . You keep coming back get all confident then end up flouncing off demanding for your account to be deleted. You are clearly mentally quite fragile.
@Archers Road I got this recently in the local auction, "mixture of prints and paintings" which I won for £18: It's a Wendell Thompson Perkins if I'm not mistaken. Took a punt on another picture in the lot not being a print, it was but this is an original. Have to do it online as don't usually get a chance to view.
1st harvest... How often do they have auctions round your way? There used to be two near me, one in Southgate and one in Hornsey, that were both pretty regular, but they’ve both shut down, sadly. Southgate was good for junk shops, so was Northam Road in Southampton, but that trade seems to be dying, which is a shame. I suppose it all happens on eBay now.
There are two nearby, one in Market Harborough, one just outside Leicester. Both have two per month or so. You can bid on them on invaluable.co.uk which is the best online bidding site imho as "you pay what the floor pays" as they say i.e. no extra charge for bidding online. Use google maps to find auction houses nearby and see if they are on Invaluable. You can get some real bargains at local auctions whereas ebay has too much competition. Also local auctions assess the lots while ebay is full of scammers.
