Just a small portion of rice. Makes the portion of chilli look massive, could eat that again no problem!
The interesting part about Spaghetti Bolognese is that in Bologna you will rarely see spaghetti on the menu, reason being is they eat Tagliatelle, which is a thicker pasta to obsorb the sauce. Hence why when people take the piss out of your sauces, you are actually doing it correctly!
I think spaghetti with bolagnaise sauce is a British thing, pretty sure that the Italians use the dry Spaghetti with seafood only.
I remember having a rice dish in Bologna that was made with the ink from squid, so the rice was black.
Going to be controversial and state I don’t like pasta or rice. Though I do like lasagne and paella and risotto. Other than that rice and pasta can **** off.
That was the point of my comment. The use of other than. Though they are made with a different rice to your standard king grain ****e.
