'None of this is good'. Certainly not. However until those who voted remain come to terms with democracy life will continue to be in limbo. I will only 'enjoy victory' when we leave the EU. Until then you and yours will strive to deny democracy. Happy ?
I used my vote once RP - like you did. I accept the result We are seeing the consequences now - that isn’t down to me or anyone else who voted Remain and lost. It’s due to the incompetence of our politicians and the complacency of those who believed that the EU would simply roll over for us. It’s down to those who offered an option in a referendum which nobody had thought how to deliver. I personally can’t wait for Brexit - let’s get it done. I still think it’s a risky idea though.

Even though the Country voted to leave...easy enough question...... There is a second part of the question, again, Yes or No........................do you believe in democracy?
I agree it’s risky, I also believe the way we voted individually now is not really relevant, the majority voted to leave, therefore parliament needs to honour that vote, preferably with a deal , but leave we must, without a deal if the EU are not prepared to offer us a deal Parliament can accept The EU feel they hold all the cards, we either accept whatever crappy deal they offer, or we leave. If we leave we will have to come to some arrangement with them after we leave, at which point they will just offer us another crappy deal. Ultimately it’s in all our interests to have good relations because in or out we all need to trade with each other, we are inter dependent.
I think it's risky as well. But the country voted to Leave. The politicians must uphold the democratic will of the people. Thwart Brexit and they're playing with fire. I say again, it's nothing to do with being red, yellow or blue, that's another argument altogether. This is pure and simple - Democracy.
Do I want to remain? Not now, no - unless another referendum (which won’t happen imho) reverses the first one. We have to go through with it. And I agree they a ‘no deal’ has to be an option too - otherwise we are over a barrel. Do I believe in democracy? No. It’s never been fair. The ‘first past the post’ system has been monopolised by the Tories and Labour for their benefits for years. PR is the answer - but it won’t happen because that would let the Lib Dem’s to grow too big.
Maybe it would , maybe it wouldn't, it’s irrelevant, a vote has been taken & must be acted upon , or else democracy itself suffers , which is a much wider issue. ,
There is a time limit though (Although I cannot say what it is). If we are still in this horrible ‘limbo’ state in 10 years time for example it would be right and proper to hold another vote. (3 years and counting) Redprintt seems to hold me personally responsible for the lack of Brexit, but all I have done is point out the challenges - which has frustrated and angered those who voted for it. ITS NOT MY FAULT I can assure everyone for the record that I have not and will not interfere with the democratic setup of the UK. I will however continue to guess how it might pan out ...........
The problem to putting a time limit on it in the way you have, is by implication, you are saying if MP’s frustrate it for long enough they can get their way in denying the will of the people. I agree in the principle of there being a time limit though or else as you suggest we could be in the same situation in 10 years time, that’s why I said if the only way we can stop MPs deliberately preventing the will of the people is by taking it out of their hands by suspending parliament then so be it. I also pointed out the threat of this happening may hopefully focus their minds on finding a solution. For what it’s worth I have always said the process should have been a referendum on the principle of leaving , which is what we had, this should have been followed by a referendum on the way we leave once a deal had been negotiated. So a second referendum should have been , leave with the deal offered or leave without a deal as the two options. MPs blocked that option, now we can see why, they wanted the ability to stop us leaving altogether, hence we should take them out of the equation by suspending parliament if needs be.

Project fear has no effect, they will now start to throw everything but the kitchen sink at us, to subdue and frighten us, some of us will howl and have no faith in our nation, we must stand firm, be resolute, the decisions have been made, don't believe in aristocratic politicians who are using us as a stepping stone for their own pompous purposes. Project fear is a nonsense, don't let the virus of fear infect us.
it goes beyond revolting, a Government prepared to cover up industrial scale sex abuse failing to protect working class kids, but fighting wars abroad was ok. Twisted priorities. There is a parallel in there for the now. A populace that was not represented by its elected leaders.
