I think you may miss him more than you think. Whilst he wasnt great defensively and he cant take a man on, he still has a deadly cross both first time and with space which harry and alli thrive off.

Now you have some unknowns back there, plus ndombele to settle in and if toby and eriksen leave then it could affect team chemistry

He couldn’t even cross for **** last season. Was just as if he lost all of the stuff that made him handy.

I think Foyth is being prepped to play RB. Featured there towards the end of last season and played there for Argentina in the Copa America. Think we’re gonna opt to have a more rigid back line this season instead of one that has flying FBs and that’s why Davies just signed a new deal, he’s always been the better defender out of him and Rose but Rose was a better wing back.

That's been your strength for the last few seasons. Reckon teams will be much happier playing your lot with a flat back 4. And if you put Foyth at RB, Aubameyang's gonna have a field day down your right flank :)
 
Haller officially a Hammer, that is a massive signing for us, definite upgrade over Arnie in both athleticism, skil and attitude. Really happy with the way our squad is shaping up. I'm pretty optimistic for the new season, top 6 beckons.

Really? Now arnie had a stinky attitude and he wasnt that quick but strength and skill arnie was right up there. Will look ok forward to seeing this haller

It was our strength in 16/17 when Rose and Walker were at their peak. Outside of that it’s been our weakness along with CM.

I’ll bookmark that latter comment ;)

Yup i know you are preparing differently.

I like ben and think hes decent but hes similar to trippier in terms of he cant take a man on.

As you say foyth looked okay but still doing it a few times and being consistent over a seasons a different kettle of fish.

For all his bad crossing last year, trips still got a goal and 5 assists in 2200 mins.

Rose got 4 assist and davies got 0 everything.

As for changr of shape, i thought you lacked width before with only your fb providing it. (Alli eriksen lamela kane all like to be inside). Moura and son might start being out and out wingers but it will change your style quite a bit having both the fb more conservative
