I see King Kenny has had "productive talks with top refs" over penalty issues at Stoke on Saturday?

    WTF!

This will probably assure them a nailed on pen this weekend, & or no contenious decisions given against them!

If this is the case over one match then PL should be banging on the door for a meeting to, after what we've suffered so far!

The EDP today has 3 yellow cards Poll saying that none of the pens given against us this season should have been given & we are coming in for some rough small club justice, as none of them would have been awarded against the bigger clubs.

For all we are led to beleive that the refs don't favour the top teams, this kind of thing just makes me think other wise?

I'd say Ruddy tripping Ramires was a fair call - the other 3 questionable in the extreme.

But hey, we're just a small, provincial club of little or no importance.

So how the fook to you get to be a "big" club when even the officials are against you? Answers on the back of a postage stamp, please <ok>

I do think we are at a risk of bleating on about the Norwich being victimized thing too much. Yes, we have been unlucky with some decisions so far and have warranted more points than we have got but we are beginning to sound like a bunch of Neil Warnocks!

Have to agree Cromer, Ruddy on Ramires was pretty much nailed on imo, even though his legs gave way as he approached the chalenge, but thats in the past now, but what i find hard to believe is that a manager when interviewed after a match has to bite his tongue over decisions in the match, through fear of bringing the game into disrepute, but Dalglish has a moan & gets a personal meeting with the refs top brass !
    How can that work?

We need to keep cool and keep doing our thing, eventually they will start picking on one of the other promoted sides..... My moneys on QPR, Neil will bite and give angry statements, call refs cheats and get involved in bans and all that kind of stuff the FA enjoy enforcing.... When we play them i would feel let down if we dont wind Barton up and get him sent off..
The vultures are circling Sunderland already too.....
Keep your heads Norwich........This will be a long hard slog...:emoticon-0116-evilg

I'm with you on that. The decisions were made (incorrctly mostly). There is nothing we can do about it now and so we need to just get on with it. Complaining will only alienate us from refs even more.

You are so very right. only 4 games in. The win will come soon I think and when it does we will be on our way. Afterall, we only need 38pts (likely) now from 34 games. Pleanty of time. Stay calm and wait our turn to be the fortunate ones.

I fear alienating us from refs by complaining too loudly will effect future decisions.

Putting pressure on refs is what top managers do. Mourinho, Wenger, Ferguson and now Dalglish, its nothing new. Its much more than one match though, we've had poor decision making in all 4 of our games so far.

That maybe, but the pressure does not really come from the manager. These top managers make comments knowing that the press will pick up on them and ultimately be on their side. It is this media attention that puts the pressure onto the refs. I am not sure Lambert has the press onside enought to do this yet.

In all honesty the Chelsea penalty was STONEWALL, I'd of been furious if we'd been turned that down, it's Torres not getting sent off that annoys me, because the foul might then never of happened! The other 3 are a mix of diving players and fouls outside the area.

agree. couldn't understand why people were moaning about the awarding of the penalty. it was clear in my eyes. the only debate should have surrounded the red card which was pretty harsh. had it been at the other end i'm 100% sure it would have only been yellow

  14. +1 against Chelsea was pen, felt red card may have been a bit harsh as Pilks looked like he was on the cover but i'd say it was 80% fair to give red. However, none of the others should have been given, the Wigan one and the Stoke one were both outside the box.

We should have had 2 penalties at home against West Brom....

Chippy - I wish you had used a different title for this thread!
