I know but i can't believe anyone saying we were lucky to finish 10th I think we are dead unlucky to be where we are now, with a bit more luck we could have maximum points and top of the league Unfortunately the league table says we are 16th
16th after four games...The fat lady's Da hasn't even stuck his sausage in the Fat lady's Ma yet. It'll be a long time till we hear any singing.
just wonder if anyone of them will answer the question(s) or just spout more of the same, ignoring the fact that the questions I asked poked more holes in their arguments than swiss cheese....
Simple. If he wins all 3 he will be hailed by the BIB's as a genius and demands will be made from them (they have started already on earlier posts) to get off his back. Mind you if he wins all 3, I'll run naked round Mowbray Park with a brick tied to my bell end for the rest of the month. On the other hand, if he loses all 3 then I would expect some of the BIB's to climb off their high horses and accept he is finished. To be honest, with 2 home games against mediocre opposition (and we really we should give up if we fear Stoke and WBA) and an away game against a toothless powder-puff Swansea, given that all the BIB's think their man is the greatest, anything less than 6 points would be hapless. If I am being really honest, it should be a minimum of 7 points but I'll be generous. There are a catalogue of reason which you have all heard me state recently as to why I think he should go and you can include the fact that I do believe his Geordie roots have clouded his judgement in games with his beloved boyhood heroes too, so I wont repeat them now. His management of this club is hanging by a thread for a lot of supporters now and defeat v Stoke will see the knives out for sure on Sunday. Whether Quinny backs his man or Short backs Quinny, one thing is for sure, when you have lost the crowd, the inevitable chop is not far away. Vocal choruses of Bruce Out on Sunday, if we are losing to Stoke at home (which would be our 9th defeat in 10 games at the once fortress SOL) and Ellis Short will have to act. Bruce simply has to go for presiding over one of the worst 9 months of football I have witnessed from a supposed experienced manager for some time.
Hang on. Wasn't May in the last nine months? Didn't we finish 10th in May. First time in over 10 years, only the third time in fifty odd years! Oh I forget. It was lucky. Damn those lucky 10th place finishes.
If we win all 3 happy days until the usual slump occurs, we did okay in the last 2 seasons under Bruce because of our excellent starts and decent home record, now however we are having a poor start and our home record is dire. If we lose all 3 I think he'll be gone no matter whether we support him or not, it'll be down to the men at the top to make the hard decisions. Something which I have no faith in them to do at all as they should have done it at the end of last season at the latest. Some of us (think it's still a 50/50 split BIB BOB minus the fence sitters) want Bruce gone but, will still be supporting the team well what's left of it.
Your right "Not Lucky" & the table doesnt lie. However point secured were heavily loaded towards the begining of the season. If you look at the mid - latter stages of last season and the start of this season it looks ominous. Lose against Stoke and I cant see him surviving.
No argument here G Force. We were flying at the start of the season with our fully fit squad. Then the injuries started to bite and the rest is history. Oh what could have been.
Correct Cest! All the rest, why dont you just **** eachother off? Seriously you sound like a bunch of school kids who are with the in-crowd, its pathetic! You can argue it till yous are blue in the face, the fact is Bruce will take us nowhere! Just my oppinion and all you lot get defensive and start losing ya rag and going on like a load of bitches!
"the fact is Bruce will take us nowhere!" The true fact is, that's not a fact. It's an opinion. Which in my opinion. Is cack.
If we got beat 10 - 0 off Stoke I'd expect him to resign. Not that he will nor would many football managers. He'll hang on for his pay off! The only profession (apart from politics) that I can think of that gets paid well even for failure
I hope you are a man of your word mate: because I'm sure that many of us will sponsor you for to see that take place...
Is that a fact or an opinion? "Come on Cestriamackum, back me up here, i need some help hahaha!" Can't even spell Mackem rite. Sweet.
Stoke are now a progressive, organised, focused team. We aren't. Thats what scares me. Stoke, Wolves, WBA. Lucky we have Norwich, err................... I'm worried. x
