Eaves goal-scoring record at Gillingham the past two seasons is even more impressive than I thought. "Across England's top four divisions, only five players have scored more league goals than Eaves, including Liverpool's Mohamed Salah (54), Tottenham Hotspur's England captain Harry Kane (47) and Manchester City's all-time leading goalscorer Sergio Aguero (42), with Eaves equalling the goal-tally managed by Leicester City's Premier League-winner Jamie Vardy (both 38) in that time. Eaves is best known for his aerial ability, having scored 15 headers in league matches during the past two seasons. The 27-year-old also has an ability to score with both feet, netting 12 times with his right foot and 11 with his left."
It sounds like a good performance, and the youngsters seem to have acquitted themselves well. This Tafazolli seems to have performed well, seems strange they haven't signed him up yet? Looks as if McCann going to play Henriksen, if he stays, in his more natural position of attack-minded midfielder.
Yes what's going on with Tafazolli ? His game reports have been positive and we definitely need back up at CH as both Burke and DeWijs have been injury prone, and he's reportedly strong in the air which was a weakness on corner kicks and set pieces last season. Hope we get him signed up.
