Of course Jacky's kidding! - He's far too intelligent to wear a blindfold when trying to watch something and obviously means this as a joke!

Whether you like him or not, he will remain the panto-villain for the rest of his days in F1.
But ****ing hell he is a great driver.

That is not in dispute.

It's just a shame his tactics and ethics gave him the love or hate position it does otherwise he could easily have been the undisputed GOAT based on his results.

Fangio won 5 WDC's by being a gentlemen amongst gentlemen so his respect is not in doubt. Unprecedented success and respect amongst your peers is possible :)

Im probably only one of very few people to know this but I have read the biography of Fangio and he did cheat. Once he kicked up dirt in the fog, so that the car behind couldn't see his brake lights as a guidence and had to back off in fear of their lives, his co-pilot told him to stop doing it after about 10 minutes.

Mike Hawthorn was also prooved to be the reason why 84 people died (supposedly) and injurying around another 120 at the 1955 Le Mans disaster.

They say he was brake testing the Mercedes behind him towards the final straight and there's an odd video showing it.

No driver is clean from cheating, just the media play a big part in it by manipulating your thoughts on people, "tinfoil hat" I know, but they only care about their opinions not yours, it's not fact, hust opinions...

I hear what you're saying Silver but let's be clear: 'cheating' is only possible when it is against the rules.

This was the very reason the FIA saw fit to introduce a rule where none previously existed - which addressed unsporting and dangerous practices, such as making unpredictable (more than one) moves or forcing another car off the circuit which no driver would have ever considered in the early days of death. Thankfully Schumacher wasn't around at the time. Then again, if he had been, perhaps the rule would have come in far sooner!

Miggins, agreed and I think Schumacher should consider himself lucky he didn't get taken off, thanks to Hamilton's restraint, and he's still got his nose and teeth intact.

So your underlining Hamilton as a thug that would "beat people up" when he gets angry? Another highlight of his massive ego spreading amongst his fans.
Everybody cheats, nobody is perfect.

• All competitors try to gain advantage; but most sportsmen and women do not 'cheat'.
• Although perfection is technically impossible, without striving for it one cannot even begin to approach excellence.
Has the notion of 'sporting behaviour' (a code of conduct between sportsmen and women) been lost altogether amongst more recent generations? I really do wonder sometimes…

If the matador pulls a gun, greatness eludes him no matter how many bulls he kills

Once upon a time, there were boundaries beyond which one would not go. Just like the laws of a land, such a framework is an essential means by which people come to know where they stand with one another. It involves an appreciation by - and a respect for - one's peer group; and those who transcend mediocrity may soar to exalted heights to become venerated by all. This is the source of 'greatness'; an accolade bestowed by all and sundry; rarely - if ever - to be questioned.
Thus, Greatness can have no relationship with cheating, since one evades the other: such concepts are mutually exclusive. Just as with the laws of civilisation, without such a code, sport quickly descends to a disrespectful anarchy of dog eat dog.

Let us hope that there are enough of us left to prevent an emerging acceptability of such uncivilised behaviour; for whether in sport or citizenship; if standards are not upheld, the goal is ultimately lost.

No Manny, that is not my point, as well you know, but that is how I could well have reacted, Schumacher would have had his nose splattered across his face.

He would think twice before ****ing well doing it again.

Hamilton exhibited amazing restraint given the circumstances, me, I would have just clocked the cheating German little ****, maybe sad and politically uncorrect, but thats how I deal with situations like that.

I suppose you will add me to your ignore list now.

Nothing personal, but that sadly is another example of xenophobia coming into F1 again, judge him as if he was a GB driver, your views would be overturned trust me.

Trust me Manny, I judge him only as a sportsman and a human being, nothing more or less.

My criteria is simple, would I invite Schumacher into my home and share my time and best whisky with him, no ****ing way !!!!.
