I'm not sure I believe Fat Sam. Lets be honest you can't trust anything the man says, he's a dodgy ****bag. You just think about how out of touch the powers that be are when they think appointing someone who is basically a crook to do the most important football job in the country (after the one at St James of course). They are about as in touch with football as Mike Ashley is. Which makes me think I could be wrong and maybe Ashley was happy to appoint a low life. Its in keeping with his own principles. Any club getting involved with Allardyce post England should hang their heads in shame. The mackems felt unlucky when he left, I bet they look back and are quite glad he didn't get the chance to sully their club. Mind the likes of Margaret Byrne took up that mantle seamlessly.
