I'd read this earlier today, Davy. This particular article is less easy to believe than the one I read. This one claims that it's an opening offer of £30m. Doesn't make sense when we've put a £30m price on his head, does it? Prolly wild speculation, but who knows these days. I love Phillips, but I'd bite their hand off for £30m, personally. But tbh, I just don't see it coming. In fact, I doubt if we'd ever see the £14m that Villa were allegedly going to offer. All this crap is generated by agents & 'sports writers', to use the term extremely loosely, when there's no real news about. But like I said, if it came to pass, I'd take it. It won't though. More chance of me signing on £100k a week.
Agree bud, undoubtedly S****. If not, I'd take 30m too. Star man, but replaceable with that sort of cash. What I'd really like to see though, is Kalvin signing a long-term contract at his boyhood club on appropriate wages, then another in 4 years and being the first one-club career player since our Gary Kelly.
