So the last noteworthy thing he did was head the ball at Jack to buy a dubious penalty & ruin my weekend. Always thought he was a prick, ever since the 'take it to the corner' goal.
I'd say I'm pleased he's retired, but I expect he'll still be bugging me with crap adverts for the next few years.......

 

Just read his retirement article, this made me laugh

Those clubs – from QPR to Norwich, Aston Villa, Southampton, Tottenham, Liverpool, Stoke and Burnley – need not think they have seen the last of me. I am going to have to find some way of staying in football and I plan to go and watch all of them play next season.

Great player and very underrated IMO and a nice guy to boot.
He also bagged Abbey Clancey so retirement wont be all bad !

Disliking Crouchy is...different.

You should read his autobiography. He’s a good sort.

 

My mate is always telling me to check out his podcast as well. I just find him really irritating.

I like Crouch. When he left Saints he did a nice thank you to the fans. He's no Lallana or Virgil!!

 

To be fair.....he should be pretty decent at those notes!

 

Just in case anyone missed it (like I did) Not606 favourite centre back target Pontus Jansson has moved to Brentford for £4m. You'd assume that all the reported interest from us must've been bollocks as surely we could've scraped together that amount if we were genuinely interested.

 

I know what you mean, I find him annoying. Rated him as a player though

You can keep looking but we are keeping our keepers as keepsakes! Perhaps we should keep them in a keep.

 

If this were the '90s, we'd have them all in a Trapper Keeper.

Happy for Sam; he now gets his chance to continue a career at a place where he'll get real playing time, and where they have every incentive to give him a chance. 5m for what is effectively a spare part isn't a bad deal, either.

 

Perhaps we could play them all at once....might save us a few goals against ....
