I'd say on average Bruce has managed the worse teams. I think the worst managers on that list are easily Kinnear and McClaren. I think if you asked most premier league fans they would be horrified if Kinnear and McClaren were linked to their club. Pardew may have more points on average but I dont recall ever seeing a Bruce team collapsing so horrifically as Pardew's Crystal Palace did, and I've not seen Bruce take over a struggling side and make them even worse ala Pardew at West Brom. Kinnear isn't a manager, I guess his points come from Wimbledon? we were useless under him. Allerdyce over the past few years I would bet has a dreadful Premier League points record, he always goes for draws. His positive points to game record is likely from Bolton years. Compared to how old Keegan is, his premier league games is miniscule. He hasn't managed many clubs and he's a bit of a bottle job. I respect him but I don't think it's fair to compare his record. I honestly think the only stand out name I can confidently say is better is Rafa. The rest are just as mediocre if not worse.
I don't care if the bloke does like a drink, in fact I don't give a sh!t if he's seven sheets to the wind every night of the week. I only want him to to his best and understand what the club means to us, which I'm sure he does. I also don't care about his previous record at other clubs, good, bad or indifferent. What is important is that we respect the bloke and give him our full support. I just hope if he does get the job the dozy twats who think football started in the 90's don't give him stick before he's had a chance to do anything.
Not really mate. We ideally need fat **** Mike to do one so the only way is if we drop a few divisions. I’m resigned to that now. Only when his asset is worthless to him will he move on.
Kinnear had us playing good stuff and comfortable in mid table. Fair enough he handled the media terribly but he does not deserve to be classed in the same category as McClaren.
Hadn't we just lost three games on the bounce and almost fallen back into the relegation zone? It was Hughton who managed the win over struggling west brom
Just looked at the stats and to quote chaos i was right lol Kinnear had 19 games in charge in the prem before he took ill. We collected 20 points & he was responsible for signings such as nolan, raylor & lovenkrands. Mac had 28 games in charge in the prem before he got sacked. We collected 24 points & he had 80 million spent on the squad plus a pre season. So i think its safe to say despite the fact kinnear is clearly a ****. We would never have went down on his watch.
Bound to be a Friday announcement today like. Team flies out to China tomorrow. Sadly I fear there has been too much smoke around Mrs ****ing Doubtfire taking over for there not to be any fire. We're ****ed !!
****ing hell, have our sponsors ditched us anarl? Who is this Ferderick Woodman they speak of? Interesting to see Joselu on the list mind! I'm more interested in knowing who's gonna be in the dugout orchestrating this **** show if I'm honest.
Newcastle have always been my "second team" so it's a bit sad seeing the plight Ashley has got you in. On the bright side it gives us an extra team in the mini league alongside Brighton, Villa and Blades.
People might think that the kit was photoshopped on, what with the creases being identical on every kit, but then you look at the squad and realise that we have much bigger issues! Aarons, Colback, Lazaar, Murphy & Gayle, probably thought they'd never feature for us again!! Add to that the ACON impressive Saviet, we potentially have half a team of player most forgot were even still Newcastle players!!
Like new signings mate. Our new gaffer will wipe the slate clean and say everyone has a chance to prove themselves for us now. God ****ing help us.
God help us when you look at that squad. If Steve Bruce is the one to follow Rafa then pile in to to get odds on relegation which are getting shorter by the day. I shall stay on site and some others but as far as Ashley and Co. go I am done after nearly 60 years supporting.
According to BBC, Mrs Doubtfire has taken training this morning........at Sheff Wed. Dunno if owt can be read into that, suppose he's still under contract with them until something happens otherwise so probably has to. Obviosuly I'm hoping that if he really is that much of a Toon fan and loves us so much, he's sat and listened to Ashley and/or Charnley and told them to ****ing poke it right up their hoop !!
