    Honestly, I don't care which club our managers support. Like I don't care which clubs our players support. Fowler, Macca, Owen, Carra all Everton fans ....

    But Newcastle aren't in much of a position to choose 'Brilliant managers'. There's about 2 or 3 'decent' ones who've already turned it down.

    But does Bruce's past really matter that much, its about the job he can do and is he the best they can get

    I said it was maybe a ploy to keep the fans happy. Remember the euphoria over Shearer? Geordies seem to like one of their own managing them ... with us, its irrelevant.

    Five of Liverpool's Premier League fixtures in August and September have been rescheduled.


    The Anfield meeting with Arsenal has been set for a 5.30pm kick-off on Saturday August 24, while the trip to Burnley a week later will begin at the same time. Sky Sports will televise both matches.

    The Reds’ home game against Newcastle United has changed to a 12.30pm start on Saturday September 14, live on BT Sport.

    Jürgen Klopp’s side’s visit to Chelsea has been moved to Sunday September 22, kick-off 4.30pm, and will be broadcast by Sky Sports.

    Finally, Liverpool’s away fixture at Sheffield United will take place from 12.30pm on Saturday September 28. BT Sport will show this game.
