Happy to return the favour, youse have given us endless entertainment these last 3 seasons...it's about time we "gave something back" to the community.
About time? My friend, for all our woes, believe me when I say sincerely that throughout the last 3 years, the darkest in our famous clubs time, your lot have been a magnificent beacon of light throughout. Whether it be hero worship of a failed manager, talk of the ‘potential of Barcelona’ or just reading the general misguided and cringeworthy bumming of each other that goes on on your forum, your always there to lend a hand. I don’t post on your forum often but I do check in just to make sure the ‘warm glow’ thread is still going, I take pride in that thread, it’s a security blanket in the hard times, the best impression of a set of fans who ‘don’t give a **** about Sunderland’ Giving a **** about Sunderland I’ve ever seen. It’s wonderful. When the Sheikh was linked I had a momentary pause and fear, then I remembered the misspelled bedsheets and the 6 man protest outside a bustling Sports Direct store and I realised it just wasn’t in the stars. I have a lot of close Mag mates (and a dad, the ****ing traitor) most of them are grounded as ****, dislike but accept Ashley and are generally realistic. It’s wonderful that Sky and the internet do such a solid job of making sure we know the fun guys are still there I guess this was a long winded thank you.
Agree totally @Smug in Boots . He was an idiot that toon fan. “You know nothing about the internal workings if the club”... Not like he managed them or anything is it Quite funny really I think Ashley must hate them. Steve Brice and Sam Allardyce. Bruce has been a poor manager since he was with us. Ok at championship but poor above that. And they thought he was undercover with us. If he gets sacked it’ll likely be “because he managed Sunderland”!! Then allardyce who they roundly detested cis he played **** football. Better than Benitez mind but he wasn’t Rafa!!!
There's a big difference though. It was the Sunderland team that was embarrassing, this time it's the supporters
Absolutely. Watching that Netflix documentary I thought ‘didn’t they come across well’. Rarely think that when you see Benwells finest on SSN
I’m sat in McDonald’s at Newton Aycliffe with it on my iPad waiting fir a call to tell me where I need to go to sort out someone’s excel spreadsheet!! Free WiFi and Sky Q!! Love it
Haha, ideal mate. What a start. Hoping it’s the bowlers on a rampage and not the pitch of course. The consistency of the deliveries so far is mind boggling.
According to the latest crack Bruce is being lined up to be appointed before the weekend so he can be granted a work permit for China ... ... something Benitez didn't need apparently
Great choice please log in to view this image Sheffield Wednesday are braced for an official approach from Newcastle for their manager Steve Bruce, Sky Sports News understands. Wednesday boss Bruce is due to return from Portugal on Wednesday, and Newcastle are keen to have a new man in place to succeed Rafa Benitez by the time they fly to China to take part in The Asia Cup on Saturday. Sky Sports News understands that Newcastle see Bruce as a safe pair of hands and would get on well with Mike Ashley and the club's hierarchy.
It's happening... Sheffield Wednesday manager Steve Bruce has apparently been sighted leaving the club’s training ground in a chauffeur-driven vehicle, ahead of talks with Newcastle United about the vacant managerial position.
His first press conference will be Mag Bingo Gold Things he may say ... Boyhood Mag Sneaked in 52,000 every game Dream job Cathedral on the hill Finished 10th with Sunderland Famous number 9 Etc Etc Etc Things he won't say .... C'mon Toons
I have texts flying in now about Mags going mental on social media, this is comedy at its finest. Some of the comments are mental, "Bruce should be struck off as a Geordie and Newcastle supporter, he's endorsing an evil regime." FFS man
