Lies? No, I watched part of Mr Yaxley-Lennon's live broadcast myself. It was radiantly clear that it was in contempt of court. Tell me what was 'lies' about that. Had they hypnotised him into doing it or something? No, clearly not a lie. Contempt. Absolute, knowing contempt. From someone who claims to know the law. But doesn't.
What was clear Whitejock?, asking people arriving for sentencing have they got their over night bag and how do you feel?, the only contempt I could see was his disdain for the nonces about to be jailed, the BBC had already named them in a earlier report. You are only glad he has been jailed because you don't like him, nothing to do with what law he may have broken, just get him silenced at all costs.
You've actually touched on a point there that has many parallels to the current situation. Several decades ago, children who were orphans, 'bastards', 'coloured', or those from 'broken homes' (divorce was fairly unusual then) we often shunned at best, derided & abused at worst. For decades. It took a long, long time for children in these categories to be fully accepted. Acceptance by the other children was the easy bit - it was the parents who caused most of the problems, mainly with their attitudes. I don't know how they did it, but these children are now mostly accepted by all, although there may be some radical religious groups who think & teach otherwise. I can only hope that whatever they put in place today will alleviate the current situation. Ironically, I believe that the very people who are complaining about it are the ones who mirror the attitudes from the past, and are in actual fact causing this situation. My eldest grandson comfortably talks about the home life situation of his friends, some who have 2 dads or 2 mums or whatever. There is no problem where he's concerned. There's nothing to stop & think about. Whatever has been done has worked, but tbh, I don't believe the books at the centre of the current disruption were even available to be used. It's been something that's been carefully worked on for years. Like Milky, I can't be arsed looking at the books to confirm, but I suspect that they're unnecessary, and there's a very good chance that they may be used as a tool to promote the gay way of life. Leeds schools seem to manage brilliantly without these books, so if the gay brigade are that concerned, perhaps they should tear up the books and take a close look at what's been done up here.
