Benny Hill is a Southampton legend. What's more he's a Shirley boy. Absolute joke that he doesn't have a statue in the city somewhere. He's more famous globally than the city itself.
Exactly. And a football team with a defence that imitates him in tribute almost every game. Or is that the Keystone Cops?
In answer to Thereisonlyoneno7's idea of what might be the lifespan of EV batteries. This is a video that was published an hour ago by a Youtuber who I subscribe to and generally trust tries to get to the true data before he devises a video. He is usually very thorough, but his speciality is making dry subjects entertaining, so you'll stay for the information. Thing is, I haven't even watched this video yet, but I'm confident that Joe Scott from Answers With Joe will tell the truth. Let's see:
I liked the idea of EVs, but am beginning to go off them now. They are so boring. Take no notice of an old grump....carry on, lads .
I was more inferring that my daughter is constantly on about 5% charge no matter what time of the day....can imagine her doing that in her car too
I have no objection to FFVs provided the owners [not aimed at you, just an illustration] who prefer them use a pipe. Find the exhaust. Stick pipe on the end of it. Feed the pipe into the driver's cabin through the air flow system. Keep windows closed. Drive forever emitting the gases into the driver's cabin with the same level of keeness you would allow them to escape into the open air. Now repeat the experiment with any form of Hybrid. Now do the same with a BEV. Did you live to try experiment number 2?
