Birdie on the 15th after playing 9 holes? If I were playing the 15th I would have had an eagle at least. In fact the last 9 holes would all have been eagles.

If you insensitive bastards knew anything about golf you'd be aware that it's tradition to put flowers on the ladies tee when the the Lady Captain doesn't get mistaken for a bloke

I played 1-3 and then came back on the 13th - 18th, it’s a nice little round robin with a couple of par 3’s and the only Par 5 and gets me nicely back to the clubhouse. You don’t wanna be playing 1-9 and then walking back to the clubhouse after walking up the hill to the 9th green like! Nee fun, especially in this heat like!

19 if you include the clubhouse bar! Ravensworth has three parts to it, the part he missed out is built on the side of a fecking mountain <laugh>

It's a hard knock Ravensworth like, especially the par 4 tenth, it must be one yard short of a par five!

    **** I miss golf!!

    Haven't hit a ball in 4 years.

And I'm still technically a PGA Pro.

Think I'd struggle to break 80 these days.

Did you get sick of it all or are there no courses where you are now (is it Turkey?)

    Bit of both

    Istanbul 20 million people
    2 golf courses
My PGA card supposedly gets me free golf wherever in the world!
    But not here
Most people that play golf here are super rich people.
Don't want to mix with a working class Durham lad.
I miss the golfing craic with normal lads.
Normal lads don't play golf here.

    Hey ho.

Ha, ha....I haven't hit a ball now for about 6 years and to be honest I hardly played for the previous 12 years when I was full time coaching. Unlike Liam O I don't miss the game at all.

I gave up for twenty five years...its called marriage <whistle> Rediscovered the game last September, played about 70 rounds since then...yeah, I know...down to five-ish handicap but delighted with progress and should get even better. Striking the ball so well with driver and irons.

    Time flies by....
Modern clubs make a difference, but even back then, you hit a decent drive.
Mind, not as good as me.<ok>

Have I mentioned the time I played in a competiion all the way down in Exeter around 2006.

I was probably at my best then and won.
    Closest to the Pin.
    Top Stableford Score.
    Longest Drive.

Some posh course, and they allowed me on with little etiquette.
Stupid twats, asked if had a handicap - No says I and was duly given 18 shots.
Unfortunately, I was only allowed one prize - robbing c****.
