Well said Jimi, I agree wholeheartedly. I don't rate him all that highly, I think he's archaic in his approach, but sometimes people are a good fit when you don't expect it. As always, anyone who walks through the door will have my full and vociferous support. I don't believe in getting on peoples back before they've had a chance. Anyone who walks through that door under Ashley also has my commiserations.
What keeps us up 5 seasons in a row under difficult circumstances. I mean yeah his behaviour fell below the expected standards, but he had a better record here than Benitez on results.

I don’t judge players simply on stats and I don’t judge a manager simply on stats. You’d have to be an idiot to do so. Pardew was a mouthpiece for Ashley and for that I’ll never respect him. If he’s appointed and does the same then I’ll have no respect for Bruce either. I’m sure Pardew doesn’t lose any sleep over it and I’m sure Bruce wouldn’t ether but then again I don’t care what they think. I’ll always give someone a chance and that includes whoever is the next manager but I won’t judge him just on stats.
