No, a straight forward transfer.
With Real Madrid wanting Pogba and with Hazard at al. already joining it makes sense that they have to sell a big player. We need someone in that position. This transfer works for everyone involved imo, no idea how true it is though but a fee of 65mil is being thrown around (with a buy back clause)

Some journalists are saying the buy back clause is the sticking point.
I've no idea if this is true, it does seem to work though on all sides.

Divock Origi's recent improvement has saved Jurgen Klopp £100million, it has been claimed.
Former Ipswich and Arsenal star Paul Mariner told ESPN that Liverpool have no need to go out and sign a new striker as Origi has proven he is good enough backup for the Reds.
Klopp was expected to sell Origi this summer and bring in a new centre-forward, but the Belgium international popped up with some key goals in the business end of last season to help the Reds win the Champions League.
“He came in and scored some very important goals,” Mariner said of Origi.
“I think what’s going to happen here is that Klopp’s decided that he’s got his main guys and unless they go down badly then Origi can sort of just step in.
“That’s the thinking behind it because if he goes into the market for a striker nowadays, at the level that Liverpool are at, we’re talking £70m, £80m, £100m.
“So maybe that’s not the way he wants to go.”

I have absolutely no idea if the rumours have any weight but it's a transfer that could definitely happen...if we were interested. To just totally write it off without any reason is a bit 'MITO'
Asensio or Pepe could be a good shout tbh.
The Asensio deal moreso as RM surely have to recoup a **** load of money if they want to move again in this market.

as much as we'd all like the rumour above to be true, and I've said this before I'm all for us getting a forward, it's not me saying it's not happening.
despite people giving me abuse that I have to be right etc etc.. the fact is we've been told by the club via their outlets that we are not in for these guys specifically.
I'm with you guys in wanting some forward to come in that's quality. I'm just not going to waste my time on these rumours as the club have said its not happening.
my personal view is we may see a repeat of last summer. karius was being backed and suddenly we are in for alisson after 2 weeks of preseason.
right now;
1. Adam lewis
2. rhian brewster
3. Adam lallana
4. Harry Wilson.
are all in effect on trial. klopps talked about brewster role. he's talked about origi getting chances. he's talked about shaqiri too.
after 2 weeks klopp might well be convinced he needs a left back or a striker... but we will see.
