Morning all... I like the kit, I wouldn’t sell Philips for £20m I’d just give him his pay rise, if there was a better replacement for less who Bielsa has identified then that would be different. Sell Forshaw and give his wage to Philips. I’d guess deep down Pontus is gutted it was only Brentford that showed interest but he would be digging a grave for himself if he said anything else, we’re all different, I just wish Bielsa could have handled him different. Morning Ell and all. This time of year I try not to get too drawn into things as so much is just rumour. However, I still can't get my head round the pontus fiasco. I get why he has gone if Bielsa not happy but the fee seems pathetic and his comments about wanting to play in the premiership don't really stack up with Brentford. With all our other CBs out the door there must be a cunning plan in place which might resolve the crisis. I friggin hope so and for now I will trust this to be the case. If on the other hand no decent CB or prolific goal scorer is signed by the close date I will start to panic. Don't think cahill is the answer either.

Whilst I agree in principle, I put myself in their shoes. Take Philips, you’ve done great for the club, you’ve not cost a transfer fee you’ve played 46 times last season and they offer you a new contract. You see it is less than Bamford who cost the club 8m he probably had a signing on fee and he played just 22 times. I’m just using this as an example, I’ve no idea what wages were on offer but you must look around your team mates and think I’m as important as them, I want paying the same

Morning all. Just briefly on the subject of players wages and differentials, before we condem a player wanting more money or parity with team mates maybe we should ask. "What would I do" All this playing for the shirt etc is all well and good in an ideal world, but the likes of Radz will try and get away without paying anything if he could. Also ask the question is Radz playing fair with some of our talent or just using LU as a shop front. This worm is getting ready to turn back into a doubting Thomas, still don't trust the guy.
