Bayern and barca don't need to having 5 titles each, not sure what's different about the scottish league to psg and the french though? did you know bayern have won 5 titles and been runners up 5 times. we have been winners 6 times and runners up 3 times. look at it another way, one has been in the final 10 times the other 9, but its wining that matters
also forgot to post if you care lol, bayern and barca are the only teams to win the comp 3 yrs in a row, don't think real or ac milan have achieved that, but check if need be.
We started on 13 July in 2005 when we were made to play all qualifying games after winning it. We beat The New Saints 3-0 (twice)
I wasnt sure of the messi years but as thinking the CL format hasnt been retained unitl real did the 3 in a row so that makes sense. Real won 5 in a row in the bribery days of di steffano. Real won 3 in a orw Ajax did win 3 in a row Bayern with muller i thought got 3. I don't think anyone else won 3 in a row.
Barca won two out of three but with a gap inbetween. They actual won three from six (2006 - 2011) but never two in a row
Followed immediately by English dominance for six years (or seven of the next eight if you prefer) Feyenoord won it the season before Ajax started their treble too
back then you had of course to be dominant to do so. the difference between ajax and bayern and Real of old and the "new Real" is that over the course of real's 3 in a row they were only champions domestically once over the 3 years.
Winners stayed in the competition to defend their title back then too mate. Nottm Forest weren't English Champions for their second win
