Not sure if you ever use the Manor Barn, by Broadditch Farm, Southfleet. They definitely do it there.

 

A "hawf and a hawf" is a half pint of beer and a glass of spirit of ones choice. Or a half of beer and a whisky/vodka chaser

This is a photo off Manor Barn's website and it shows Carlsberg on tap, along with Asahi. Not sure when this was taken but if SN has dropped Asahi and Calsberg own Angelo Poretti, maybe it does make some sense??

 

Just googled it, didn't know the place existed. Will save it and check it out sometime in the future.

The beer is only there in case the time between finishing your hawf and starting your next hawf is more than you can wait without having a drink.

Ergo one hawf of beer can last four or five voddies.
