There's a beer at out golf club called Angelo Poretti.
Never seen it before or anywhere else since. It's an arse kicker, bit like Peroni on draught.

No doubt brewed over here though.

Moretti in cans is lovely. As is that brown bottle strong version. Vintage or export?

Just looked it up, an Italian pilsner, 100% owned by Calrsberg Group, who originally bought 50% shares back in 1982. I think it is still produced in Italy and untapped gives it a rating of 3.07

I don't get this adulation with "foreign" beers tbh. I have traveled extensively, around the Med especially and I have always found the local beer to be palatable. No better or worse than UK beers.

Imo it's all pretentious pish. Oh ah Moretti, it's a Italian doncha know!

    Big ****ing deal.

Are the Italians renowned for their beer making? Not that I know of.

Don't get me started on the likes of Sol and **** like that. Red stripe!

Gimme a pint of Tartan special or McEwans export anytime.

None of that English shìte mind you.

John Smith's, what's that all about?

John Smith's is fooking disgusting. Are you sure Tartan and McEwans are still 100% produced in Scotland <whistle>

    Absolutely Kev.

Magnificent local produce that you can't get anymore because of the influx of pretentious foreign muck and English franchise pubs.

Not sure if I've ever tried it or not but if I saw it on draught I would buy either. Can't stand canned beers and never drink the stuff. Might look for the two bottles if I remember next time I'm in a supermarket.

Canned beer is always bad. I think you will be lucky to find either in any supermarket doon south tbh. You would do well to find them in supermarkets in Scotland these days. Especially in bottles.

I've already told you why ya mug.

My local sells tartan on tap and it's a lovely pint. It's been a while since I've seen McEwans on tap but then again I dont frequent pubs as often as I used to.

English beer is world renowned for being shìte mate so dinne be dissing the heavy.
