I will never forget when we played Ipswich away and Ormandroyd was sent "racing" clear. Heading towards the 2,000 Leicester fans behind the goal with no one within 15 yards of him, he fell over his own legs and fell in a heap on the edge of the box. So funny :)

And Andy Lochhead as well. Remember him telling Clarke that he was a lazy bastard when we had a corner down the Kop end.

David Gibson and Mike Stringfellow never seen any two players have a better understanding, they were outstanding!
Frank McLintock, Graham Cross,Frank Worthington, The great Gordon Banks IMO the best goalkeeper ever lived.
Not forgetting the hardman John Sjoberg and the legend Keith Weller R.I.P.

Malcolm Manley with the way he commanded his position, Bobby Roberts with his crunching tackles and occasional thunderbolt shot and Bobby Kellard with his 'thou shalt not pass' stance.

Steve Thompson with his dead-ball prowess and Mike Whitlow and Simon Grayson, a full-back partnership we've not seen since.

Didn't see Gibson and stringy or maybe I did as postman and offy owner in Earl Shilton?

Anyway Lynex Smith & Lineker were as I remember the best front three I think I have seen?

Lineker and Smith both went for near on a £1m & Lynex who provided almost all of their opportunities went out the back door for aroound 100k!

...man after me own heart there MITLBC, I remember dear Roders playing brilliantly, then turning into Marty Feldman on other occasions ... he was my first SuperStar footballer...

Took a leak next to Malcom Manley, one friday night at the Jolly Toper , Barlestone... he was p****d as a newt, and to my surprise not only did he play the next day, he had a great game.... oh happy days....

Oddly enough... Gareth Williams. I was a huge fan of him and he had some great tecnhique on him. Was gutted when he moved to premier league watford for a mere £300k on deadline day, to suffer a leg break i believe and never fully recover. With a big, bulky, disciplined man next to him i think he could have flourished.

Gareth Williams and Stephen Hughes... possibly the most lightweight and injury-prone midfield duo Leicester have ever seen. You're right though, they both had decent technique. I think it was knee injury that ruined Williams' career though, ACL cruciate damage.

I know, they just werent compatable. Williams could strike a ball and strike it well though!! Really struggled without him... was it Jason Jarrett who replaced him?!!
