Just a bench across the gym. Gotta keep it up three touches then return Two touches then return. Play in two's or threes all three or all two have to touch it before returning it. God i loved training.
How many other championship clubs have made a load of signings? Had a skeg of a half dozen and only stoke have made five signings. Some not any but released a lot. I mean Swansea sold James for 15 million a month ago and haven't, shock horror, reinvested any of It yet!!! It'd be suicide watch on here if we did that.
**** all's going to happen until the last day of the window when all the big deals are complete then its mayhem across the game as we all scrap for the leftovers. **** really but that's the modern way.
That’s the reality for us at the moment no point in expecting a great deal more. We will be dealing in freebies and small fees but our wage structure means we won’t be attractive to top end championship players. I am sure the Terry was recruited for his knowledge of the lower leagues as that’s were we will be shopping.
In fairness I’d counter that and say most teams in the Championship without adding players already have bigger squads than us. We are as always paper thin - one recognised striker, three recognised wingers of which 2 are ‘up for sale’.
Swansea have put a price tag of £20m+ for McBurnie, that makes Bowen look a steal at £15m. Our squad does have a lot of young u23's & u18's in to pad it out for the trip to Marbs, - we don't have a lot of experience in depth. Darnborough is onto page 2 of his 5 page list of possible signings for this window. Marshall looks interesting - Norwich paid good money for him, gave him a long contract but only played 4 games for Norwich last season.
Chazz where in my post did I say we should have signed loads of players like other clubs have. My post just says I have no sympathy for our managers, they all no what they are getting into.
On a transfer thread you put "I had little sympathy for Nige regarding the Allams, Ive got no sympathy for terry either. Nige had been around the club, area before taking the job he would have known what the Allams are like and how the club is run. The football world also know the score, Terry exactly the same and if he didn’t make the time to speak to his friend Nigel, well then he’s only got himself to blame Assuming what most on this board think of course" So what were you alluding too??
Added to the fact that it’s difficult to have sympathy for people doing a job that most of us would dream of, and getting paid very well for it too.
