I think someone has a crush on me?

Discussion in 'General Chat' started by Medro, Sep 14, 2011.

  1. I did only find it out last night.

You knew all along yet decided you'd harp on about a banner at a Celtic game or a quote from Peter Lawell and then have the misguided cajones to claim that there's nothing anti-catholic at an orange walk.

My local Orange Lodge was used as a base for the local BNP candidate in the mid 90s - hired the billboard outside my (RC) school and all sorts.

****ing vermin and you happily clap along at the side of the road.

    Fascist.

  3. I'm fed up with this ****e.

Defending the indefensible by "whitabooting" - Gambol was right - it is a skill and **** knows how you justify it to yourself.

The same guy who thinks there is nothing wrong in putting Ulster flags and Union Jacks up outside Catholic Churches over here because Catholics died in WW1. He doesn't have the courage of his covictions to admit what he is and that is why we see him defending the obviously sectarian Orange Order nearly every day. He actually said yesterday the the OO were not secterian. Even members of the OO know they are secterian ffs.

Well it's not a ****in secret that paramilitaries hold their own marches for their own that have died.

But that isn't the same as the 12th July parade, they are both for 2 different things altogether.

So that band doesn't take part in the 12th of July through bookings from the Orange Order?

  7. Now that I've lost my virtual temper, wouldn't it be nice if we didn't have to have these threads anymore?

So you can't put up the country's flag outside a catholic church!?!

You know, not every catholic has a problem with those flags, Rory McIllroy for example but when we were talking about flags outside churches I'm sure you'll remember that I said it was correct of the police to take down paramilitary ones.

Why the need for these Loyalists to put flags up on every lamp post though? They are put up outside Catholic churches for one reason and one reason only. I know Protestants that don't want these flags up ffs.

I'm sure they do. But them marching through Belfast for the 12th of July is not the same as a remembrance parade for a dead terrorist.

That's the equivalent if ne labelling every Celtic fan in Parkhead an IRA supporter because of the green brigade holding up banners and singing songs in their praise.

I'm sure Rory McIllroy wouldn't like some knuckle dragger to shimmy up the lamp post outside his house and stick one of those flags up. Compare like with like Medro.

The band itself is 'in rememberance of Brian Robinson'.

Erm, you said Celtic has links with Republicanism because someone held a banner up at Parkhead in this very thread Medro.

I don't put them up myself so I don't know. When it was done up in Ballyclare it was done all along a road in a Protestant area which had a catholic church on it.

It's no better than a dog pishing on a lamp post to mark its territory. I'm done anyway.

That is but 1 example. The republican folk songs belted out is another. Are you trying to suggest Celtic FC does nit have links with Irish Republicanism?

But again that does not mean every Celtic fan is an Irish Republican.

And I'm sure your feelings are exactly the same for when the tricolours go up in areas.

There are very few but yes, i think it is disrespectful to the flag. How can you have respect for a flag if you are happy for it to fly on a lamp post day and night for months untill it is ripped and torn untill it looks like a dirty rag. Put them up for the couple of days then take them down again.
