I fancy our chances against India but there's a definite mental block when it comes to Australia. Honestly, we need to bat first especially against Australia - there's no way that docile batting line up is chasing 325-350 or higher. I'm not confident at all though. Oh shush. In what should have been a nervy and tight game it was clear we were going to win after about 5 overs. NZ did well just to stop it being a procession. Before Williamson was luckily dismissed they were already 61-2 and needing comfortably over 7 an over for the next 35 overs. Game was in the bag before that event, it just settled any doubts. Give our lads some credit, we deservedly beat India and all people did was say India were poor, then we turn over NZ and people comment about how bad a run they're on. They are 2 of the other 3 teams in this SF and we made them look bang average/ poor. Our bowling has been very good. Our batting has been iffy. Our fielding has been excellent except against Pakistan for reasons no-one really knows.
Run rate is 4 an over atm. Playing nowhere near aggressive enough to get 450 Should be looking for a run a ball and last 20 treat it as a t20 game

Looking good for an England v Aussie semi final. Better than us playing India till the final, if we make it. Reckon we'd do Australia.
Not looking as rosy now... if Australia win this then I'm glad we wont be playing them on Thursday as it would be a big result to come from. They were dead and buried at effectively 5 down with 200 runs to get at 7.5 an over.

We are a better team than Australia and it should be 60-40 in our favour but... We fold when we're behind the game and Australia don't. If that had been us today we'd have just swung wildly and been all out for 200. It makes the game 50-50 and that annoys me, if and Australian team had the talent of our current one they'd walk the world cup in their sleep.
