Reminds me of coming across some wild alligators once down by a river in the States. Nice to see but you wouldn't get within 6 feet of them, because they would out run you easily, best viewed from a distance.

One bite off one of them and its curtains isnt it??? I'm sure The Really Wild Show informed me that they had so much nasty bacteria in their mouths that a bite is most often lethal?

I remember watching a park ranger at Yellowstone slowly explaining to this stupid woman just how dangerous the bears were...

“They’re not really dangerous are they.” - “Yes, ma’am, they are. Very dangerous”.
“Well, I can outrun some big old bear anyways”. - “No Ma’am, you can’t”.

I am sure they could outrun me but I know I can outrun my wife and kid - hopefully they wont be hungry after them.

You know mate. People are so dumb. The Alligators were just up out the water on the bank, quite a few of them, some big fookers too. I knew they would be able to out run me, and it's their initial pace you have to watch, and when they get you there is no letting go - so kept enough distance and pretty close to my vehicle.

That's what the guide was telling us. It might take a while but it will kill you.

When I was in Canada last year, there’s loads of signs on the trail heads about keeping your dog on a leash, because of wolves and mountain lions.

Apparently loads of dogs have been attacked and killed, as the wolves see it as an intruder to their pack and attack in numbers.

Remember seeing one couple, fresh out of the city with a ****ty little lapdog letting it run free on a trail by the edge of the beach. A **** off big bald eagle spotted it and swooped down talons out ready to take it, and only pulled away when it saw its startled owners screaming as it was about to take the dog.

I actually stayed in the centre of the Everglades one time - there was only one place to stay, although a hurricane tore through there some time after and ripped the place up. Can't remember the name of the gaff now. Fooking mosquitos everywhere, because it was a protected area, so no repellents were allowed from memory. Basically you lived your life in netting, and when you got in the car you put the aircon on full blast because the fookers can't stand it. You get used to the bites after a while, but initially it's a bit of a shock to the system and wearing anything scented is a big no, no.

I’ve been to a few places in the world, with some pretty funky wildlife. Wolves, bears, sharks, crocs, snakes, spiders, mountain lions. But the one thing that gets to me the most is ****ing mozzies ! Little bastards.

Those little ****s are everywhere in summer over there. My first summer living there I almost gave up and came home - I got bitten to ****. I got so paranoid that if there was one in the bedroom I had to kill it before sleeping.

I was wearing this **** called Deep Woods Off, and the little ****ers still got me.,..luckily I seemed to develop some sort of tolerance and the second year wasn’t so bad.

Yup i never realise how bad mozzies can be until you go into a protected wildlife area. Just swarms of the fookers. Only good thing the bites only lasted a short while, not like a single bite in the UK, days! Best thing I enjoyed seeing was wild manatee, sea pigs basically. I've had to deal with snakes a few times, they don't bother me but scare the shhite out of a lot of people, so I was always the one that had to get rid.

Yeah you do get a sort of tolernace eventually. OMG that deep woods stuff, it's fooking paint stripper mate, never spray it on you near decking it will strip the layers off.
