JGF mentions fraud in his posts. There is a difference between fraud and cheating. Legally they are different. Fraud in the case of this seat is to manipulate the voting system.
one asks a question "seen what " and you give a reply like this? .. where is the link ? and in the context your last comment [ basically..... ] is totally unfounded and uncalled for.
I’m not personally arguing for another in/out referendum, but as time goes on I can understand why the idea gathers more weight because of the time since the last vote and we are still in the EU. The demographics will have shifted as people die and younger people become eligible to vote. If the passing of time is irrelevant then that must mean the result in 2016 is null and void, because the people spoke in 1975........
The question in 1975 was about staying in the common market , the answer was yes and we stayed in I.e we honoured the result. The question in 2016 wasn’t regarding the common market , it was in or out of the EU, so completely different question, the result was out , we are still in the process of honouring that result.j Why would we have another vote about whether to leave the EU before we’ve honoured the original vote, what you could legitimately argue is we could have a second vote on the terms on which we leave, as this wasn’t known at the time of the original vote, ie leave with the best deal we can negotiate or leave with no deal, that would be legitimate and not undermine democracy, anything else would undermine democracy and ultimately could be much more damaging than leaving without a deal.
Boris has a massive job to do. I don’t want the remainer Hunt who is May in disguise getting the job.He wants the job at any cost. That will be the downfall of the Tory party.
To be honest RR, I couldn’t give a jot about the Tory party , I just want someone to somehow honour the referendum result, whether it’s hunt or Johnson I don’t care. If I’m honest I don’t think either of them will, hunt voted to stay in , Johnson only voted out for his own personal gain, I don’t believe he voted to leave out of conviction, the man would do anything to gain power.
Do you know, I would not vote labour with the Python and liar Corbyn and his cohorts in charge of that party but I do not hate the party, it's Corbyn and his soul mates who just seek power, he is a person who openly supports, Hamas, Hezbollah, the IRA, Russia and Iran, he ha stated that in his opinion socialsts states like Venezuala and Cuba are good examnples to follow. I detest him, I detest his phylosophy, he is a political con man, he has lost the battle of pleasing both sides, now he is going to tread the trail of betraying all the leave voters and flip flopping again for popularity, power mad. How the hell can people like you and me reach out across the valley of hope, which is leave and give both of us peace with such a divide, it really is a concern.
I know u dislike him intensely Wiz, but his record of voting in line with his conviction over the years , often against Party lines, is hardly the actions of a man seeking power, he didn’t chase power it was kind of dumped in his lap, he is in a position now where he has to try to appeal to opposing factions within his own party, any leader would struggle. I do however agree with you that he is not a leader and I wouldn’t want him as our PM either, My problem is hunt or Johnson isn’t a Leader either , those two really have gone out of their way , and would say anything to get it.
Good point, the next GE is likely to offer a choice between BJ or Jezza as PM. Hardly an inspiring choice.
He is a bit like a very soft soft Corbolliks inso much as he has stated I have waited 30 years for this and I will do anything TO GET IT ...everyday in car on way to parliament he plays meatloaf! you are combining 2 things that that mislead ….. that he only voted leave to gain power by voting leave he was champion on TV programmes with very good arguments and "oils on troubled waters" .. [ horror stories of leaving ] … he has had countless opportunities to be in a position he is now …. 1 step/vote away from being PM …. How was it dumped on him... he elected to stand for his position and was voted in … unions [ administration ] tend to be /want to be in charge and for them he was the "best tool " at the time .. there is no EXCUSES for his attitudes and support for evil [ bit strong that word, but fits ] Did you see PMQ'S yesterday … he is now in a position where he is a puppet, being orchestrated by the spin doctors, he spoke in monologue tones never raised his voice [usually rants out some of his questions ] … Tony BLIAR was coached into the "stutter delivery" stopping a sentence at 2 or 3 points when least expected … [ you see that in the USA, not so much the stutter, but analysist's that pick out a term/phrase/ comment/ delivery of a speech that maximum impact result … then push it …. TM I thought did well but was deliberately short with her answers … gave him little fodder to come back to .. his pre prepared speech at time a bit out of sync ….

JGF if Hunt did get in then he has clearly said he will NOT take us out if a deal can be done. At this point the TORY PARTY WILL BE HISTORY, Boris as said in previous can become a super hero if he does it right.
don't quite get this … what deal would not get us out? all our views on payments ...immigration.... legal stuff.... laws etc being granted! that wont happen ….
