    Have to say i am having difficulty believing that Catholics would go on these marches unless they were supremacists with a touch of Schizophrenia. If we're not allowed in the Orange Order why would we march with it? Seems a trifle odd to put it mildly.

    He's talking out of his hoop Chippy. Not only are Catholics not allowed to join the OO but their members are not allowed to marry a Catholic or attend a Catholic Church, be it for a wedding, funeral etc. But Meds knows tons of Catholics that give this organisation it's support <whistle>

    But why would you wear a GAA or Celtic shirt to a unionist march? Mates of mine going over to the Gers vs PSV game I think it was got a **** load of abuse wearing their Gers tops on St.Patricks day in Belfast. Of course there would be trouble but that has to do with the GAA & Celtic and their history with republicanism.

    Its a public holiday over here. They don't march themselves, like I said they see it as a few days off work to hit the streets in the sun and have a drink with friends. In recent times there has been a large number from the Asian & Eastern European communities goign to these marches. They might not have a clue whats going on, they may not be protestants, but they see the amount of people it attracts and go out to watch.

    The OO ran Northern Ireland for 50 years and openly discriminated against Catholics. They chopped the electrol boundrys so they would have majority representation in places were their support was actually in a minority among other things but all Medros Catholic friends skip along to the fun filled, all inclusive 12th of July.

    I am sure a few odd balls might attend but the picture you are drawing is nonsense Medro. Everyone knows what the OO and the 12th are all about, just admit it and drop the keek eh.

  14. Medro, the programme last night had a march in memory of a man shot by the army on his way home from shooting a man because he was Catholic.

    They treated this racial supremacist as a hero and a martyr.

    Now, reverse the religions and ask - would you expect an NI protestant to even put up with that much less watch it.

    Celebrating sectarian murderers who murdered and selected their victims by creed.

    Would you watch that?

    Just stop the bullshit FFS.

    The answer to this question would be about 20 or so catholic nationalists (at the most) out of the tens of thousands that attend.

    A few more catholic people who have a unionist background might attend but I'm not sure how many.

    And a few filipinos and maybe eastern european catholics would attend as some of them live in protestant areas.

    All in all - less than 150 <ok>

    So you now agree that some catholics do attend. It's not that hard to understand, not everyone has issues like you.

    So out of about 150,000 catholics in Belfast you think 20 attend?

    <doh>

    Maybe you lads should go into Belfast for the next 12th
