We’ll see, personally I’d be surprised if they don’t bring in a replacement if they sell Wester, apart from anything else none of the others are really comfortable with bringing the ball out, which is how LJ likes to play.
It would be nice, but in reality the chance to play in the Premier League , along with a salary increase, if the papers are correct, of a multiple of 4, be honest Sup , which would you choose? . Whilst I’d love him to stay I can’t see it happening if AV match the asking fee. On the flip side we can do a heck of a lot with that kind of cash, even allowing for Ipswich 20% or so.
Did anyone else notice Smith move from QPR to Millwall. That will surely end their interest in K Moore
I’m not sure he’s the answer either RR, that said I don’t know who is, I think I would like the young lad from Arsenal given the choice, I’ll leave it to MA/LJ I’ve got faith in them to get it right.
Day 56 Arsenal are reported in saying Nketiah is not going out on loan. Even though that’s the Sun running that report it could be true. This is not a rumour or anything but I would like to see us go for Sam Gallagher who has said he would be willing to drop to the Championship. A player like him and even Moore would mean we get a better target man than Diedhiou and use a more nimble number 10 in a mould of the last season of Bobby Reid. As to Moore, how many of us thought Wilbraham was a waste of money and would not do anything?
Wilbraham - I liked him from the start but that was L1. Moore has had similar lower league clubs as Marley Watkins. I fear he will be just not good enough for a promotion aiming Championship club. If he comes I hope I'm wrong.
'Chelsea have ruined a lot of careers' - What Leeds United, West Bromwich Albion, Aston Villa and Newcastle United are saying about Bristol City signing Tomas Kalas A look around the Championship and beyond https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/chelsea-ruined-lot-careers-what-3043994 There is a lot of bitchy, envious, jealous twats in the Championship, just look at there reaction to our club signing Mr Kalas, they can all go and do one, they know we are alive and kicking now.
'There is still business to do' - Bristol City CEO discusses transfers after the arrival of Tomas Kalas from Chelsea It has been a very busy week at Ashton Gate https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...ws/bristol-city-mark-ashton-transfers-3043682
Fammy does a pretty reasonable job don't know why so many knock him he missed 8 games last season [ in terms of games @90 mins he played in 35 ! 1 goal in every 2.7 games ]and still scored 13 goals a full season and would have been on 16 or 17..... would have been 10th in championship …. CHE [equivalent of plyd 42 games ] just been sold for £15m he scored 22 …. 1 goal every 1.9 games
what they are saying ...I am guessing as wont open eveil post stuff , is by having so many on their books they have to loan them out even when they get older ...however Tomas has signed for us because he wants to... whilst a certain misaligned group of spectators can often be detrimental to our players .. TK and a few others have recently BECOME hero's … to all … Chelsea have probably ruined a few … but a few have benefitted. did I read somewhere that there is to be a restriction on loaning out players? Chelsea had over 50? out at one point! ?
Day 57 He’s reported to be on 55k a week when he was on 15k a week when we had him, so you can count that one out. Unless Chelsea agree to pay 60% of his salary which won’t happen. I suspect with their ban and Lampard’s soon appointment I would think they will be looking at using him. You only seem to want players you’ve heard off or had one or two good seasons in the past and will cost money. Try thinking outside the box with players who can work to our now system. Remember Pukki was a massive gamble so there are some hidden gems out there.
Bobby was never given the chance, Cardiff fans have already explained that. A big majority of them all like Reid and wanted him to play more.
