Isn't the difference amazing. Players not good enough for Liverpool like Solanke, Ings, Smith, Ibe etc get sold for fortunes that Liverpool put to great use in the market... Players not good enough for United like Smalling, Jones, Young, Mata etc get 4 year contract extensions with payrises... One is winning their 6th while the other is fighting for 6th. Difference between the elite and a team that got lucky with one manger I guess.
