It looks like Rafa wrote this and didn't get it ghost written by some PR bod. In addition to the bizarre "C'mon Toons" he's used the Spanish spelling of "special"
I assumed everyone does this to be honest. I ain't missed a game for ages. I still have Sky and BT but to be honest I think I'll ditch the sports package now. I pay £75 a year for my IPTV. Bit more pricey than some pay but mine has been bulletproof. Mates have had issues with dropping off now and again, or big box office fights getting blocked, but I've had zero issues.
same here, my service has been faultless and the customer service they offer is superb and very fast whenever there are things that need ironing out. Had a bit of a blip early in the season with EPL blocking but they got round it....and there's always the VPN route if all else fails
It appears Benitez is signing for a Chinese club today. That's pretty quick work considering he was only just informed his 'vision' at Newcastle was no longer needed. Some cynics might think he never intended signing a new contract and already had his bags packed.
So it is possible to negotiate with two parties at once? Revolutionary news, could change the landscape of business forever this. Maybe other managers/players will start to do the same as they approach the end of their contract...
Of course you can conduct dual negotiations, common practice in all walks of life. It just seems Benitez had already concluded his with the Chinese club some time ago.
So he'd actually done a deal, and once Newcastle decided they couldn't do a deal with him, he finalised the deal he had in place with someone else? That is really naughty of Rafa, being prepared and all that. What a **** eh.
You seem to be exaggerating what I'm saying. It appears to me that the deal was already agreed and he had no intention of staying at Newcastle whatever the deal. I may be wrong but it looks that way, no big deal but it seems he's known his intentions for a while. For someone who's so highly thought of, by other people and himself, its a surprise that he should go to China purely for the money, where other ex 'big names' like Eriksson, Capello, Scolarj, etc, go when there are top jobs in England and Europe.
I don't blame him. I would go to China for a fortune if I were Benitez, and I once sat in my bedroom and had a full on paddy whilst crying when Newcastle lost a game in my teenage years. Actually it was more than once. Correction, I still definitely do this in my thirties.
I don’t blame him either. I’m sure had a suitable offer been put on the table by Charnley he would have took it regardless of the money on offer in a China. Maybe this is all just part of the dance tho...who knows?
Is @Smug in Boots not the **** with tiny forearms that you chased from Monaco @monacoger ? Thought he'd ran for good.
Oooooft ffs, if it isn't old popeye forearms himself. How was security for the Arabian Royal Family? I heard they sacked you for being too scared to meet me for a fight in Monaco? Or was it your age?
Doubt he'll be back to this thread. The mere thought of you will have chased him again. You're his White Whale.
