So how long til united or city zoom in waving wads of cash for Ndombele? Think this'll drag on for a week or so yet!
He's well past his best but with Aurier out for another 8-10 weeks and rapidly becoming another Lamela, I'd go for it. I think we'll need to shift one of the RBs first though. No idea why Arsenal aren't all over this.
Getting very close to medicals time now. At which point it comes down to the integrity of the player (another Willian or not) .
Exactly. He’s looking for a quick top up for his pension. He knows the prem pays more than just about every other league, hence his sudden desire to come after all these years.
He'll be off to China or the States if that is his sole intention. If this whole PL thing is true (which it probably isn't), it sounds more like he wants to prove himself in one more big league before heading somewhere for a fat nest egg. Similar to what Zlatan did.
As I already said, either another Zlatan, or he will take a big pay cut in favour of achievement bonuses for a chance to play in the PL. Pochettino IMHO would best placed in the PL to get the latter, and it would take mere seconds to determine the former.. < you do not know the answer if you do not ask the question >
Exactly this. If he wanted a retirement pay off, China/ US/ Middle East would be his destination as they pay far more than the Prem on high profile individuals. He’s conquered Spain, Italy and France, it makes sense for him to want to try his hand in England before calling it a day. If anyone in England does sign him, they’re adding a born winner to the ranks and a player who can still offer a hell of a lot.
It wouldn't surprise me if he showed up in the J-League, or to be more precise it wouldn't surprise me to see him lining up for Vissel Kobe alongside Andres Iniesta with Rakuten footing the bill
With Amos being loaned out, it's worth recalling what WindyCOYS said about locally trained players, namely we need four association-trained and four club-trained Club-trained is the important part, as this is how our options currently stand: Harry Kane, Harry Winks, Danny Rose, Kyle Walker-Peters, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Josh Onomah, Luke Amos With talk of Sheffield Wednesday preparing a bid for Onomah, at least one of KWP or CCV needs to remain with the squad in order to have the maximum squad size...although Aurier doing his hamstring at the AFCON probably means KWP remains
