It's why I love this particular group stainesy Incidentally you used to have a signature which was the chorus of a song by my favourite band - and they're still going strong after 35 years.
We should all try and do a gig together, travel permitting. Something most can agree on....I’m up for a majority decision and willing to try new things.
It’s just a joy to see a bunch of old geezers who are masters of their craft, clearly love what they are doing and have done nothing else for all their lives yet obviously retain complete enthusiasm for it. Especially if the singer is a porky bloke wearing dodgy make up, who writes timeless songs.
Sounds good - and obviously more than happy to buy you a beer if you're ever at the Men in London though perhaps we should all go to Belahouston Park and crash round @Steelmonkey house...
Well if you fancy the Alabama 3, I’m going as long as it don’t sell out before my lad buys my ticket.....
Is that at the Academy M? Daughter was at a DJ gig in Brixton on Friday night, far too cool for Glasto......
Funny to see a band at the absolute height of their powers when they're all either in or approaching their 60s!
Yes mate...21st December.....they are touring the ‘Exile on Coldharbour Lane’ album after so many years....still their best album. Beth should be up for it I reckon
Well my eldest is 24 so I’m guessing it’s that.....she was playing ‘Peek a boo’ as her newish track at the time
It’s good to get away from the constant sniping on the Politics thread (which I’m a culprit I’ll admit) Been a feel good night, thanks lads
