Morning Kissa, would love to sign Lichaj perminantly, maybe in the transfer window, if Connelly is out of favour, maybe Bromby could do a job there. Shame we sold Hughes last season....
Ellandback orite pal Hughes worked hard but lets be honest he wasnt very good! I feel sorry for Bromby and Connolly cos they where the only two that did any good last season! Lichaj was quality and looked like he could play anywhere up the left or right would be a great signing but not for now while hes injured
Funny that Elland, I said something similar last season & got castigated for it. Not the best defender we ever had, but he was versatile & always gave 100%.
That is a great song, never knew they sung that! Tour of Duty used to be ace, watched it every Sat night late on. Only really took notice of Rolling Stones a couple of months ago when I happened to watch a documentary on them, didn`t realise they had some right songs and sound as relevant now as then!
Hughes quality was far removed from Champ standard, he only just cut it in L1. Brilliant bloke but you dont win matches on being a popular fella.
Afternoon Phil, yeh, great song.... Hughes, although not the most talented could really frustrate forwards, just because he was brilliantly average and never tried anything too clever, but always gave 100%
Got to disagree Elland, his constant loss of possession to the other team would have left us cut open even more than we currently are now. His distribution was mostly woeful, and players of Champ quality have enough tricks up their sleeve to negate any workmanlike qualities he may have. Thats just my take though, good to have differing views Got to say one thing though, we would have a right old ex-players Christmas do!
Tickety boo ... Tickety boo.. On tap...in a can,,or a large bottle..as long as its got ice with it..I dont give a damm i'll drink it..LOL The new guy looks/sounds ok'ish...Hope his the FIN-nished artical....ok i'll get me coat..LOL
Isn't it weird, you have to have ice in magners, BUT if someone tried to put ice in my beer, I'D SLAP EM....
Badger (and everybody) Anyone tasted Brendan Ormesby's ale ??? 'Brendan is also the honorary president of the Scarborough Branch of the Leeds United Member’s Club. He attends the club’s annual ‘On The Road’ evening and his role has led to a beer being named after him. Ormsby's Bitter is brewed by the Wold Top brewery and can be sampled at the Spa Complex on the town’s sea front'.
Great Tume (ps thanks for tune yesterday)... Regards Hughes, I would take 100% heart over players with more skill anyday. We need more battling barstewards and less lazy journey men.
