The Racing Post have Maven and Hurricane Ivor on the same rating of 90 at the moment and purely for value I went with Maven. He is 5/2 to Hurricane Ivor's 5/4. In the fillies race it was last chance for Suphala. She was no factor in the French Guineas but prior to that was only beaten a short head by Watch Me in the Imprudence. Watch Me landed the Coronation Stakes and that looks a timely boost.
