Went for a gap that disappeared before he got there, running on when it was all over.

With a completely unsentimental decision - Canford Cliff's lad next up

Hurricane Ivor dotted up last time and was very prominent in the Norfolk betting before it was announced he would bypass Royal Ascot. His race has not worked out well mind you. The runner up was beaten more than 15 lengths in a maiden next time and then almost 10 lengths in a claimer after that. The others to run since have been getting beaten up in maiden company.

The Racing Post have Maven and Hurricane Ivor on the same rating of 90 at the moment and purely for value I went with Maven. He is 5/2 to Hurricane Ivor's 5/4. In the fillies race it was last chance for Suphala. She was no factor in the French Guineas but prior to that was only beaten a short head by Watch Me in the Imprudence. Watch Me landed the Coronation Stakes and that looks a timely boost. If Suphala bounces back from the Guineas run, and she has won a Listed Race since, she has a chance here.

    6.45 Chantilly Suphala 9/4

    7.45 Chantilly Maven 5/2

    newmarket,3 50: FRED ARCHER STAKES

barsanti and walton street are both proven pattern performers, and greatly respected here, but if WELLS FARRH GO is back to his best after a long absence today,he ll take all the beating.still has big potential to do much better in time..

For a second or 2 up the home straight I thought Cosmelli was going to oblige there but ew thievery rewarded. Johnston clearly didn't as he barely mentioned him even though he was travelling like a dream into the home straight. Fookin useless he is.

well, always possible, that another of o briens team caps it,so good luck with your choice, but i think,MADHMOON would be the most deserving winner, after a few near-misses this season so far,and with a bit of luck in running,he will be bang there.

Morgan wouldn't be taking 100+ off Rashid Khan on this pitch Oddy. He's got it on a piece of string here.

Final for England tomorrow - win that and they could get some momentum going. Might even get the stream going, we are forecast 39 degrees tomorrow so I won't be doing **** all moving <laugh> (well maybe the beer arm <cheers>)

Yeah agreed they need to win tomorrow. Some nonsense in the press here between Bairstow and former skipper Vaughan which shows a pretty piss poor mindset which the fiery redhead needs to snap out of. A big hundred tomorrow would help.
