    curragh,1 45:

a tricky race to kick off the card here, but BUFFER ZONE looks very much a player.has a fine record fresh, and is now 3 lbr lower than for his last win.still less exposed than most here, and this ex roger charlton inmate should go very well today.also looks the stables first string..

Too much choice today so I'll just stick with the ones I played/picked earlier in the week.

    2.05 Newmarket Summer Romance 7/4

    3.25 Windsor New Graduate 9/4

    2.25 Newcastle Invincible Army 9/4

These were all tipped up on the forum earlier in the week, so not after time prices.

I feel Madhmoon can reverse Epsom form but having missed the 6/1 I'll just watch the race. The Racing Post previewer reckons there is no reason why Madhmoon will turn it around but there was only a pound between the first four home, so it's difficult to be too confident it will be upheld today in my view.

    newcastle,2 25: CHIPCHASE STAKES

i am a big fan of INVINCIBLE ARMY.was a shade disappointing in the diamond jubilee, and this comes quite quick for him,but if none the worse for his exertions, should make his class tell, probably at the main expense of mr lupton, who is in the form of his life at present.the surface shpuldnt be a problem either,as he has won on sand before.so,big shout!

    Well that was comfy!
Mr Lupton is my choice JF .... I acknowledge Invincible's Donny win, but find it hard to excuse his last run

Summer Romance pissed up and is favourite for the 1000 Guineas now. Jessie Harrington's Albigna was briefly 20/1 favourite but the Godolphin girl looks a bit special. I had a small bet at 33/1 for the Guineas during the week because she looked a real class act in a small field on debut and she has routed her field today. Obviously a long, long way off but she is as low as 12/1 for next year's Classic. Bet 365 go 20/1 but I don't expect that to last as word of Summer Romance's win spreads.

No stopping Invincible Army today. Mr Lupton looked like Mr Lipton .. cuppa tea halfway round? :)

I'm going with today's forum horse Wentworth Falls next up. This could prove a very unfortunate name should he ever go jumping ..... <laugh>

20/1 Didn't last on Summer Romance. Bet 365 cut her to 14/1. Ladbrokes only go 8/1 :emoticon-0104-surpr

newcastle,3 00: NOTHUMBERLAND PLATE CONSOLATION RACE

well, the good thing with ante poste favourite CARNWENNAN is,he never wins by ten lengths or so,but just does enough,so the assessor will find it hard to gauge his progress at all,but he looks farily treated at present, and is apparently in great form.so,he surely has another big run in him..
