Watching Michael Kiwanuka live on iPlayer. Amazing performance. Recommended. Looks like a huge crowd for the Park Stage.
You call Glastonbury “Glasto” You’d like to go there one day. When they’ve put up the gun towers To keep the hippies away.
Only been to one "festival", Festival of the 10th Summer. Manchester. Smiths, New Order, The Fall etc. All on the same stage over a day, more my thing than spending three days in a field. Glastonbury on TV suits me.
Currently watching Stormzy, he's so great. Gonna watch Kiwanuka later, same with Tame Impala. Been to Glasto three times (lucky me), in 2009, 2013 and 2017.
Watching tame impala now, really good gig, never heard of them / him before. Looking forward to the cure on Sunday, used to listen to them loads but not done so recently, so some blasts from the past due. Any tips for me from you lot (i like a tune, so strornsy not my sort or thing).
I can’t imagine anything worse than living like a tramp in a field for 3 days with the great unwashed. I love live music but the festival ‘scene’ has about as much appeal as a bad bout of diarrhoea.
I've never heard of them or he or she or their music but Tame Impala has got to be the ****tist name for a group of all time
