    Why can’t Harry Artur be persuaded to stay with city for another year...same wages as in the PL? He could do well in this league, and I would put him on a big bonus for any goal scored...safe in the knowledge that it will cost us little. Make him captain, pull him off on the hour, every hour? Why not? :emoticon-0103-cool:

    He says he still wants to play Prem. Parker will have an influence but let's see if Arter is true to his word.

    I would love him to stay (not all on here feel the same). Personally I think he could do a damn good job for us and he has said he enjoyed his time with us.

    MANSFIELD SIGN MAYNARD

    Mansfield have signed striker Nicky Maynard on a free transfer after his departure from Bury.

    The 32-year-old scored 46 goals in 131 appearances for Bristol City before enjoying stints with West Ham and in the Premier League with Cardiff.

    Maynard helped Bury to promotion from League Two last season, finishing the season as their top scorer with 22 goals in 41 games for the Shakers.

    How can Bury let him go on a free? 22 goals WTF? :emoticon-0103-cool::emoticon-0103-cool: Worth a double take this!

    Being told to pay up by a fan of a club who has ripped off local businesses and services not once but twice. Also boots out loyal local employees and gives a job and a share of its club to someone like Trevor Birch. <doh>
