Lazy hack story bro. All came from an interview with Ornstien where he said the only way Arsenal could afford Zaha was if they were to sell somebody like Aubameyang. And so it's now a 'story'
Arsenal can't afford Zaha What a bunch of ****s, they only charge the most to go and watch etc. Fans are getting mugged off, massively.
Shambles at Arsenal over the last few seasons. Missing out on CL for 3 years, letting our best assets go on a free and paying the likes of Ozil £350k per week, has all amounted to us not having any dough to properly strengthen. Plus we've got an owner who's more interested in the LA Rams than he is Arsenal
The money is there they just aren't willing to flex their muscles and go for it. You have teams being promoted that are outspending Arsenal and you've had constant premier league football money. Constant European football money which has been mainly champions league and all the added revenue from the exposure that has giving you. There's no excuses why your board aren't spending 100 million and above every season.
Without CL revenue and the added sponsorships that can bring, they’ve got too much expenditure to continue spending £100m every season though mate. I think they spent £120m+ on Auba and Laca a couple seasons back and then about £80m-£90m last summer (not all net though) and so without any real significant return, it’s now why their supposed budget is just £40m. Pretty sure that they’ve been making an operating loss of around £40m in each of the past two seasons (Piskie may need to correct me on that though).
Well why would I accept an avatar bet based on a news story that I cannot (nor can you) validate? You clearly rate him so let’s be more constructive with this bet. Put a price on his head.
I’m saying he ain’t leaving this summer bro, not for AC Milan or anybody else. That’s my position on this if you want any kind bet about it ?
Yep, that’s right. Currently we’re operating at £44m operating loss each season due to wages + lack of CL football. Emery has just shaved £400k per week off the bill, but the big issues are Ozil and Mkhitaryan, and let’s face it, nobody is taking them on with their wages, so we’re stuck with them for the next two years. The ineptitude of the board over the last 5-8 years has set us back 3-4 seasons in terms of what we can spend. I mentioned it in another thread, but in the last decade we’ve only spent £12m net less that Liverpool, but whereas pool got top dollar for players like Suarez, coutinho and even got decent money for fringe players, we’ve allowed our best players to run their contracts down and leave for **** all. The only silver lining in this is that the people who allowed that to happen have now left the club. We’ve now taken the stance that any player reaching the last year of their contact will either be offered a new one or will be sold and we won’t be held over a barrel like we were with Ozil.
Liverpool favourites to sign £100 million James Maddison ahead of Manchester United ... just one small problem ... we ain't selling ...
We'll just tell them that they'll need to meet our valuation ... which will be £20 million more buddy ... just like we've done with Harry Maguire
£4m won’t get you much in this league nowadays anyway, I’ll have a bet with you that if he leaves it’ll be for no more than £30m. You think he’s better than Xavi so you’ll snap that up no bother.
Okay, if he leaves this summer for no more than £30m then you get my username, if he stays at Arsenal then I get yours
If he leaves Arsenal at all. You can forget about adding your own little small print. You’ve got form for slimy bets.
Get to ****. I’ve said he’s not leaving this summer, you’re posting stories that say he is and you mentioned the £30m figure. You want this bet or not ?
