Well guys, packing up the laptop for now and heading off down to the New Forest this afters for a couple of weeks - the land that time forgot. Got a great cottage in Brockenhurst - been there before and right next to the edge of the downs.

Will probably get back on line this evening, so here's a question for you in the meantime.

Still trying to figure out how I can make some money out of all the horse **** lying abount down there. Any ideas?

    Have a good break Sparkey.

Got plenty of horse **** of my own. And cow ****. End up giving it away after we've spread what's needed on the fields.
As if my daughters 3 don't produce enough, they (daughter and boyfriend) end up emptying livery yard muck heaps locally (they get paid £50 a load for taking it away).
Never short of a couple ton for my veggie plot.

Sounds like the wurzel board would be the best place to go.

Blistering when we got here yesterday about 4pm - stepped out of the air conned car and it hit you. Not complaing though - bloody brilliant.

Yes, there is some ice in the freezer pal, but more importantly, in the well under the back floor of the X5 (did I tell you I'd bought one<laugh>) I stashed an 18 bottle box of Peroni, 20 pack of Becks and 20 pack of Stella, and they went in the fridge pronto. <ok>

Not much room for anything else though - the wife managed to squeeze in some butter and milk........:emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer:<laugh>

seem to to recall someone mentioning you're X5. werent the wurzels admiring it?:emoticon-0138-think

glad youve managed to squeeze the bare essentials in the fridge.....

.....and you still had room for butter and milk.<cheers>

Enjoy the stay and come back refreshed and ready for preseason.
Take a leaf out of tomlins book.
Or you could just drink the beer and photoshop your picture.:emoticon-0102-bigsm

You could be right. I think I remember a poster across there that got a bit upset because his tractor had failed its' MOT.

Funnily enough, I haven't seen that particular guy posting since then. Maybe the Vicar warned him and deleted his posts - Oh no, that was me......<laugh>

Love your optimism Masky but Sparks is only at the New Forest, about 140 away so not the other side of the world. It also appears he has access to this interwebsy thingy so can communicate with us lesser mortals when not off his face on Peroni, Becks and Stella.

If he wants to delegate his sacred responsibility on a temporary basis I'm sure he will let us know.

Phew, it's bloody hot down here. Nice bottle of dry white wine left by the owner for us in the fridge - that didn't last 2 minutes. Into Stella on the patio this afternoon and had a few drinks as well....<laugh>

I can't see my stocks lasting much more than a few days, and it's not just me who's drinking it either - the wife can hold her own. <yikes>

Popped into Tesco Express in Brockenhurst village after lunch to check out the stocks down here and I can report there wont be a shortage. <ok>

To even be considered for the job Masks then at least a threat of a ban from the wurzels board should be on the CV.

Absolutely lovely here in Dover on my way to GOC!!!!! North Wales to start but then South too. Left in 30+ this morning but tidy temperature now. Brought a case of Bordeaux with me but it won't last till the middle of the week. Glad all are happy.....save Masky who has his usual delusions of grandeur!!!!
