Ozil situation is a ****ing joke. We're stuck with him on £350k per week, just about every Arsenal fan wants him out the door now. Lad will probably have a blinder next season now.
I've heard that he's prepared to play for us for free and he only plays **** for Arsenal so they'll waive any transfer fee.
I wouldn’t even be surprised if they’d contemplate letting him leave for free. Problem though is that no one’s gonna match his wage demands so they’re ****ed regardless.
It would seem that no matter how much you re-brand, re-purpose it and build whatever on it, Ashburton Grove can't help being a place that processes rubbish. They'd have been better off staying at Highbury.
Who are you ? I mean your team. And yes we’d probably ship him out on a free if we could just to get him off the wage bill.
I don't actually think that will happen now due to his age, less than impressive recent form, etc. I would expect him to move to Turkey next.
I was previously "gericalo" so my team is Spurs and as i'm sure you've already guessed, I was just mucking about. I've felt for a while that the person you need to get rid of even quicker than Ozil is Kroenke. He's not interested in running Arsenal as a football club.
Yep Kronke is a leech. The only owner to take money out of a PL club without putting a penny into strengthening the squad.
It would be brilliant, majority shareholding by the fans. That way the best interests of the footballing side of the club would always be at he forefront. Unfortunately for us, like most things in the U.K., they are now seen as a cash cow for the rich to milk for their own empires.
Not really. Do you honestly think the Glazers spend their own money? The only money they spend is that accrued from TV and mug sponsors. Other than that it's a similar scenario, welcome to our world.
A question on your name, Is the series any good? Catch-22 is my favourite book, ****ing hilarious, but the film was an abomination that didn't make me laugh once, not even when Doctor Daneka 'dies' so I've been wary of watching the series
The first episode left me a little underwhelmed. It didn't bring out any of the funny moments. Also, I hear they're doing the whole thing in chronological order rather than the backwards and forwards in the book which will probably spoil the whole thing. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm not a great fan of the film either but I thought they got the casting spot-on and whenever i re-read the book I always picture Alan Arkin, Bob Newhart, Jon Voight amongst others.
