The bookies have Anthony Hudson at 10/1,never heard of him so had to google him, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Hudson_(football_manager) briiliant CV and can see this happening.
He was sacked by Colorado Rapids just last month for making the following quotes: "We are fighting at the bottom with a bottom group of players and we have to find a way to pick up results whilst also being a team that tries to play a certain way. And we just have to find that balance. The only way it’s going to be a quick fix is if you wave a magic wand at it and throw lots of money at it. Clearly we’re not doing that. I’ll go back to this: Every single game we go into, whether it’s Nani, whether it’s [Wayne] Rooney, whether it’s [Lucho] Acosta — every single week there are players in this league making a difference and the gap in quality is huge … There are teams with a lot more quality than us. And that’s what we’re competing against. And no one talks about it. Sounds like Rafa's twin brother - I don't think Mike will want another one.
True but on the other hand he'll come cheap 200k a year and free Donnay socks for as long as he's employed! PS The Chronicle have Kevin Nolan and Joey Barton listed, dream team
CV seems to be all in the US and Bahrain, hardly proven. Plus losing 28 out of his 46 games in charge of Colarado Rapids is hardly inspiring.
Rodgers left Celtic for Leicester, you ****ing nutjob. Scottish football is easy and ****, any manager there would jump at the chance of moving to a decent English club.
Why are we that? We just don't have a manager. Either the take over goes through and thing get better, or we just carry on with the Ashley trudge. It's hardly turmoil and dissary.
You must be the only Newcastle fan that is happy then. Why do you think you have no manager? At a guess it will be a combination of Ashley not wanting to spend big, not wanting to give the manager hardly any control, not wanting to buy players over age of 28 or whatever and also Ashley not giving a flying **** about what the fans have to say. Tell me one manager worth their salt that would want to get involved with that.
No I get that, but he was saying, "no thanks" and my point is he/Newcastle wouldn't get the chance to say no thanks as Gerrard wouldn't leave Rangers for Newcastle. Understand?
Alreet fella. Football aside, have you crossed paths with ol' big forearms lately? Used to enjoy your fishing trips on the subject of his Antibes antics 'back in the day'
Hahaha no mate, however I was sent something he posted on twitter about how he is doing security for an Arabian Royal Family. Weirdly enough his avatar was Popeye, I'm sure Popeye can only aspire to get his forearms as large though.
I'm with Monacoger. I don't think for a second Gerrard would leave Rangers for Newcastle regardless of PL pull. We're a ****ing basket case of a club under Ashley. However I also get that Gerrard would be viewed as a huge unproven risk by our fans after Benitez. I certainly wouldn't fancy him here takeover or no takeover based on the evidence so far. Not that he has done a bad job but he's not really pulling up trees and there is just too little to go on. People always say its a piss easy league. In some ways its more difficult up there in a two horse race though. Unless you finish top of the pile you'll struggle to enhance your reputation so I don't really get applying that theory to Gerrard when he has taken on the 2nd best team tasked with overhauling a side who have been allowed be in a ridiculous position of strength due to their absence.
I think would! aim would be survival and hed get more money . He would think couple of good years then I'll get a job at a top club.
Did you think rafa would ever manage here ? Gerrard would suck Ashley off to get the job and out of a mediocre league . This big club little club is a nonsense... there rich clubs and richer clubs... football has **** all to do with anything other than money
