I think he could still do a job if someone were to back him up with cash. Harsh to judge him on his Newcastle days with Cashley giving 5% of ****all!
Yep. Keepers get too much protection and the knee up is a dirty trick they've done for years. It would (theoretically) be a freekick anywhere else on the pitch, why should the keeper be different?
"Rafael BenÃtez was not told that the statement about him leaving was going out today. The first time he heard about it was when a friend told him after he had seen it on Sky." Mike Ashley is possibly the biggest dickhead in football!
Same aa when they come to punch the ball clear and end up getting the strikers head. Should be a pen and red card
Our Sunday league keeper never put a knee up. He always went full studs straight leg out. Nobody ever went near the ****.
At this stage if a keeper runs into His own team mate and goes down it's a free kick. Its that bad now.
Sunday League is a bit different mate, used to pull loads of tricks every week and never get into trouble.
He did a Fat Sam. The bare minimum you would expect for a manager of his class. When you compare to Dyche, did he do that well?
Why the European mega rich look at Liverpool with envy https://rushthekop.com/2019/06/25/liverpool-news-european-mega-rich-look-liverpool-envy/
That's why he got the wages. If your claim to fame is keeping teams up you really shouldn't comment on other managers more successful.
I agree. My comment was in answer to PJS saying Rafa had done the same as Fat Sam when in fact he's done the opposite. Plus, achieving promotion couldn't possibly be called 'the bare minimum'.
just a few quick notes: Rafa net spend 2018/19 21.5mil 2017/18 10mil 2016/17 - 31mil let me put it this way total net spend: 0.5mil. So anyone thinking rafa did the bare minimum can basically be laughed out of town.
Ok right didn't remember those. Although if I was being picky I'd say Rafa did win the league outright with Newcastle, Sam did it via playoffs.
