This is to all of you. Be honest here. If you were Boris's neighbour, after rightfully contacting the police.... Would you go out into the street and make a note of the car registration numbers of the police cars that attended Boris's home. Would you then contact the guardian (the most left wing press association out there) and pass over the recording of the argument and proof that the police was involved? Taking away political motives and intentions here, my opinion is that I sincerely doubt any of you would do that. So be honest, would you do all of that, like what the neighbours did or would you just leave it after contacting the police? As I doubt you would do what those neighbour did, ask yourself why did the neighbours do it. Now look at the neighbours background. Their history on social media about Boris. Their pictures of demonstrations against Boris. Now ask yourself again, why did those neighbours report it to the press. After doing this, welcome to my world

I’m not defending their reason with going to the press. In my opinion it makes them just as bad in glorifying the fact. But I can tell you I’ve lived next door to this sort of thing and the police were always told nothing to worry about. Me I probably made things worse by losing my temper one day and telling them to shut up. Worked for a few weeks or they chose to do it when I was out. One thing I can’t tell you is who was worse the male or female as both had a go at the other.
I also lived next to similar , it wasn’t just a one off , I often heard the female screaming at the male ,as she had a very high pitched voice, but it was impossible to know who was the aggressor , although I often thought about it I never actually reported it. I did look for any signs that he was hitting her , and would have reported had I noticed anything, and often asked in passing if she was ok. They split up , eventually the guy returned to the house with a different partner , I never heard a thing from them after that despite living next to my them for several years. We automatically think the female is the victim, but who knows.
Well as long as we’re all agreed that actually phoning the police was the right thing to do.... I actually can’t get my head around anyone who would think otherwise! Boris or not! As for going the press... personally I wouldn’t but this is a guy about to become Prime Minister. It could be in the public interest.
Well, he’d better grow some quickly and start attending some debates. The tosser can’t face prime ministers question time with ‘no comment’ I agree it’s not morally correct, but dirt-digging is part and parcel of being a celeb. Don't know who to believe, Corbyn with his treachery, false promises,fence sitting options and married to an ex banker, Clegg with his lies and a nice job with Facebook, Farage with his promise of a Brexit exit and nothing else, Cameron the remainer with his world war 3 threats, May who wants to give all we have got away to the unelected buffoons and walk in Wales or Boris who promises to get us out by October 31st deal or no deal. Hard choice.
He's still outright lying both on social media and in those TV debates too. Keeps saying we will take no deal and then use the 'implementation period' to agree terms. If we take no deal there is no implementation period! Either he's too stupid to realise it (in which case he's unfit to be PM) or he's intentionally lying to people knowing most won't question it (in which case he's unfit to be PM).
You kind of answered your own question when you said you wouldn’t , add to that the neighbours history and you can see why people are sceptical of their motives.
Agree with you entirely, I dislike the man , he’s a first class clown. All the more reason to spend what time there is questioning these issues rather than wasting it talking about an argument he had with his girlfriend.
Not even Nigel Farrage could get us out of the EU in October without bypassing parliament. Whoever wins this Tory race will need to call a general election immediately and then maybe, just maybe they will have the majority to push something through the commons. But..... maybe a GE will be called for them - there is a vote of no confidence awaiting whoever wins the race - maybe it would be better to finish runner-up? If Boris - or anyone for that matter - claims otherwise then they are a liar and the British people will see that clearly ..................................................... won’t they??
Do you want a traitor (Corbyn) a privileged enemy of the NHS (Hunt) or an incompetent clumsy buffoon who hasn’t got the balls for a TV debate? Tough choice. None of them fill me with anything but utter misery and dread. Great Britain - with all our proud history - how did we arrive at this sad end? I personally can’t decide which of the tossers I hate the least, in order to stoop so low as to give them my vote.
He doesn't even have to do that. TV debates are not really needed in a leadership contest. Neither Boris or Hunt has to impress the public here as its not a vote for the public, so no need for TV debates. They just got to try and impress the 160k Tory members as they are the ones who vote and decide on who will be their leader. We all know what Boris is like. He is a blithering idiot. Boris himself knows if he opens his mouth, he won't do his chances any good. That's why he remains quiet. Hunt knows this hence why he has been setting up his traps by calling out Boris to do the TV debates. Hunt knows his best chance to win is to force Boris into making a mistake. Boris knows his best chance to win is to keep doing what he has been doing which is basically keeping his mouth shut, if we like it or not. And because he is not falling for anyone's trap to do public debates, some are playing dirty, like reporting his private life to the press every minute of the day and then the press spins a story to get to him that way. It's going to be a long 5 weeks!
Shoot the lot of them I say. Or I think there might be battery acid still hanging around somewhere I'll get my coat.
Monday 24th June. The press for you.... The Sun has somehow got info of Boris and Carrie having 4 rows in 6 weeks, revealing each of these bust ups. The Mail has somehow got info that the couple are stronger than ever and that they have been driven out of their home by anti Boris/Tory/Brexit protesters. Tuesday 25th June.... Look at the 3 points here on the front page of The Mirror. They claim this picture of Boris and Carrie was staged! They claim the couple are flaunting their private life. Well that's a contradiction seeing they keep demanding that Boris discusses his private life and about that row with Carrie. So if he does anything in public, he is apparently flaunting it. How about this suggestion. You elect a minority government with a buffoon as your Prime Minister and he offers Corbyn the job of deputy Prime minister and then let the 2 of them self destruct, one on his own ego and the other from anything at all. I can't think of any finer solution other than an apocalypse. What an absolutely total mess and you haven't even had a general election yet. Power to the people and to hell with lying politicians.
To be fair CJS you make good points but you are quoting the gutter press. Pro or against Brexit, they’re all utter, utter sh*te that make things up at will. At least the other papers, though massively biased (i.e. the Guardian, Telegraph etc) at least have a basis of truth.
