The fat **** will now drag out the alleged takeover till the window shuts to avoid strengthening. But of course players will now leave as they were only here for Rafa so fatty will blame Rafa for that. We deserve to go down. In fact I ****ing hope we do. Not just one division but 2. It’s the only way to cleanse ourself of this cancer. When we do drop... fatty will blame Rafa again. I stuck money on us last night to get relegated at 6/1. Don’t know the odds now but they will be a lot shorter.
But if the Arabs take over could they not hire Benitez again? Him leaving and rejoining might be the way to get through some sort of loophole in order to get the takeover through. Well worth putting a bet on Benitez being Newcastles next manager. I remember when Advocaat left Sunderland to retire. The odds of him being the next Sunderland manager was 300-1. He came back. If there ever is a chance of something like that happening again then this is it.
If the boycott doesn't happen (and in my opinion, MA will only get the message when he is hit where it hurts most - in his pocket) he will never sell.
He never has wanted to sell. He’s just bought more retailer businesses which need a promotional vehicle globally.
I'm awake, I'm just against revelling in self pity and being dramatic. I'm more of the opinion that Ashley doesn't give a flying **** about your opinion, people need to decide, does he care or does he not care. If he doesn't care, then he doesn't need to bullshit us. I don't see any bullshit, it's been highly discussed for way over a month that Rafa is likely to not be manager next season. The deal has been highly discussed by both parties. Now the likely situation has happened and people act like Mike is Harry Houdini. He got us again folks! He didn't get anyone, no one is confused here, he just didnt offer enough money. What bullshit? What's even more hilarious here is that this loyal fanbase were openly discussing if the club should REPLACE Rafa if we get new owners. Even in the press this was discussed. Please, save me the false outrage.
Rafa leaves, Take over occurs, Rafa walks back in. Club negotiates his contract from scratch with differing parameters from previous. Seriously, is there any reason he couldn't have talks with the potential new owners about being re-instated as manager if the take over goes through? Having severed his links with the club, by the expiry of a deal, he isn't bound by any conditions as per payoff.
This. It’s part of Rafa’s plan Next week he’ll be able to talk to his new employers It’s back on people!
Being a Sunderland fan, I'm only being pessimistic. Maybe he has left Newcastle United and his current Ashley deal. Maybe once the takeover has been completed he will re-sign with an Arab deal. Still think its worth putting a tenner on.
