I get your point on spontaneity fella... but most screaming matches between partners are alcohol fuelled. This was apparently over knocking wine over on a sofa (such a boris thing to do). Hey maybe he got in at midnight and had a single glass of red to help him sleep. More likely, they were plonked up in the early hours on a school night. That was avoidable. His mrs is his PR advisor and their relationship appears to be causing a conflict of interest for that role. He needs a new mrs or a new pr advisor. Perhaps both. As for your original point about media reporting. I think the most likely sequence of events was. They heard the row, they may or may not have been concerned, apparently it’s not the first time so maybe they were just annoyed, that we can’t say for sure. They recorded it, maybe to give to the police maybe to give to a paper, again we can’t say for sure. Whichever, they realised they had something newsworthy, and a chance to knock someone they don’t like... so sent it to a paper they probably thought would want to print it... rather than take money/leverage/blackmail to not print it as the others might (anyone with a basic knowledge of PR, knows that story gets hushed in exchange for a favour if it goes to a ragtop). So, of course they‘d choose the guardian. It doesn’t mean the whole thing was a Corbyn masterplan.... Placing agents in the flat next door to spy and provoke tiffs! The discussion moved on to whether what happened should impact on his selection. My point was, the event itself? No. What it represents, yes.
Didn't record it for the Police, they said they never heard it.Which again considering they thought someone could be being murdered, they should be done for withholding evidence.
Could have been offered to the police, but if they'd already determined that there was no case for them to pursue, they wouldn't be interested in listening to it. Bit like the Spygate situation, where the police didn't search our guy fot the alleged bolt cutters, as there was no offence committed, so no search required. Still fuming at Pampered telling such blatant lies & getting away with it. Speaking of whom, not sure if I want him to go to Chelski & be sacked in jig time, or stay at Direby & get sacked when the lucky wheels begin to fall off. Bottom line - he gets sacked & career either ends or spirals downwards. I'd accept either! It's either that or next engerland manager.
The fact that the police didn't hear it doesn't mean it wasn't recorded for them. In the meantime the evidence is safely stored with the Guardian which I am sure is in no way connected to the fact that Boris doesn't want to discuss this at all.
I'd been on it since Thursday in Dublin, im in recovery now til I go back this Thursday See you Saturday mate
If the recording was juicy enough to harm Bojos chances of becoming PM it would have been on every lefty media outlet possible by now, they're doing a Trump on him because the left wing fascists do not want the buffoon to win, its as simple as that.
It’s an interesting one, because you can make a good case that labour/Corbyn’s best chance is Bojo winning. He’s a marmite figure even within his own party, and a likely bumbling disaster as pm. If hunt won, it might be harder for them to pick up votes against a remain voting ‘soft’ brexiteer.
If the police had considered an offence might have been committed (which they didn't), then the recording of the alleged offence would have been evidential. It would have become sub judice and secured toward any possible future prosecution had it been offered to them. Two scenarios exist. Firstly as seems the case, they didn't believe any offence had been committed so they declined. Secondly, when the "concerned" neighbours were informed of no action being taken, the recording was withheld because a potentially greater degree of damage could be inflicted on Johnson by offering it to the media along with a story, particularly by the ultra left wing publication where it ended up. The fact of the matter is there is no mileage in the recording otherwise it would be everywhere by now. Conspiracy theory? Nah, it's just the way it is.
Guardian = ultra left wing How would you describe the Torygraph, the mail, the express, the sun. Middle of the road?
Nobody is denying the poitical stances of the publications you mention - see post above. The fact is this story ended up with the most extreme left wing newspaper - I wonder why?
