Haha I really should have predicted this.

Man potentially physically abuses his girlfriend but of course it's the spying neighbours that are at fault!

Objectivity is somewhat lacking here and that just proves it. I think Corbyn is ****ing useless but I used him as an example to see if you guys would react in the same way if it was him. And I highly doubt you would.

That you would be picked up again on your lack of evenness and objectivity. Mr Johnsons neighbours chose to damage his reputation by involving a paper with an agenda v Mr Johnson when there was NO crime.

Yes, so why does BJ not just say that?
We all know there are people with an agenda - political or journalistic - to uncover scandal - so why give them the fuel to do it?
No comment on the cocaine use (which IS a crime) and now no comment on the alleged row which COULD have been an assault but no evidence was found to warrant an arrest.
It’s the same with Corbyn not commenting on the allegations of anti-semitism.
Just come out and say it ffs.

So are we saying the neighbour shouldn't have called the police?

Many women (and men) are attacked every day as victims of domestic violence. If you hear someone scream 'get off me', that is both legal and probably wise, given that it could be used as evidence in the future.

And why does BJ not come out and clarify as bcfcredandwhite says?

I don’t like Boris either. I consider him a twat of the highest order, and maybe the accusation should be treated as wasting police time?
No charge was brought against either party which would indict it was a loud domestic which went a long way but not too far and all’s well now.
Boris should just come out and say that so the matter can be put to bed.

I don't think it's wasting police time, if I heard my neighbour screaming the same I certainly would not leave that be. But yeah I agree, whether it's Boris or Corbyn or whoever it doesn't matter. I totally agree with you.

Honest a god, I thought the rule of life in our country is innocent until proven guilty, these upright, self admitted left wing, highly principled people, showed good neighbourly conduct, showed their concern, care for humanity and vigilance in the protection of a vunerable female by dialing 999 emergency service and reporting it to the police service, they , the police duly did their duty within minutes and found on arrival no problems, no threat to human life, no injuries,no male threat to the lady of the house, everything was safe and sound, they duly reported back to the the worried parties the situation and reassured them.

So what did the worried parties do, they decided because the neighbour concerned was Boris in the race for PM, we should all know how brave, concerned and virtuous they are and having decided his character needed judgement, having already got the police to verify the situation, not satisfied they snitched and betrayed a neighbour to a left wing rag paper like the Gaurdian, for they say wanting the truth but I wonder what rewards they achieved.

Don't tell me they snivelled to the gutter Gaurdian on a point of principle, what a spineless display of virtue from the left, a bunch of self seeking rabble.

If only some of the neighbours of abused women or men called the police regardless of it being trivial, before discovering the damage caused eh?

But it’s ok because the person who called is a remainer and a leftie.

I am sure they do but they don't all rush to the press for rewards, recognition and self satisfaction do they?

It’s an argument I’m never going to win, because it’s a remainer and a leftie. Would you have been concerned of their motives if she was a Tory and brexitier?
Regardless of their motives I don’t care about if every person who reported suspect abuse had an motive as long as it prevented someone’s pain and suffering of an abuser.

How many times Rob have you taped a neighbours argument and sent a copy to a national paper? . It does seem odd behaviour to me , The police have confirmed there are no charges being made.

The Police were satisfied there was no domestic violence. I see no reason why he should explain having a barney with the Mrs. Its private. The Police were satisfied there was no domestic violence, everybody was safe, no further action needed ... THAT says it all.

The unpleasant neighbours thought otherwise and went to the Guardian.

ROD, I totally agree with your principles and point of view, good on you.

The police were contacted, they immediately visited the property of Boris, they investigated, questioned all parties, no injuries, no threats, no cohersion, no further action required, they then contacted the concerned people, made them aware of the facts and reassured them, then these kindly people supplied their information and secret recordings, without the knowledge of the police or the accused to the biggest, most biased left wing rag in the British press, I don't know what advantages they achieved by doing this personally but it was politically motivated, dirty and a disgusting way to operate.

With the greatest respects ROD, you seemed to have missed the point here. No one here (from what I have seen) has said anything bad about the the neighbours calling the police. Its the calling the press afterwards that is the issue.

If they had just called the police only as a concerned neighbour then let the police deal with it like any normal person would do, then their motives would not have been questioned. However they didn't drop it there. They went on to report it to the press. Why would they do that? Hence this is where their motives get questioned. The wanted it to go public. Going public makes themselves go in the public eye. If they had been found to be Tories and brexiteers then you cant really accuse their motives apart from wanting their 5 minutes of fame and making a quick buck. But they have been found out to be very anti Boris, anti Tory leftie remainers. Now you see why a lot of people see this as a stitch up against Boris's campaign rather than trying to protect someone from a loud argument that could have got out of hand.

"Potentially". Your own word. You have no idea what actually happened, hence you say "potentially". Yet at the same time you make it out that Boris is guilty. Even though the police says something completely different. You come across as if you have your own agenda here. Why would that be I wonder!

"Man potentially physically abuses girlfriend". Your own words. It could easily have been 'woman potentially physically abuses boyfriend'. Yet you chose it to be Boris being the potential abuser. Apparently there was banging and smashing. Who was doing the banging and smashing? Apparently she shouted "get off me". That could have been him defending himself, if she was the one doing the banging and smashing. None of us actually know. So lets not get bogged down with something that "potentially" never happened.

What we do know that happened was there was an argument. This happens up and down the country every day and every night. Concerned neighbours contacted the police. The police came within minutes and found nothing untoward and was happy to leave the house after the argument had finished. This is a non story. But because it's Boris, the so called 'concerned' neighbours wanted to take it further and report it to the police. Remember the picture that wiz has put up of the neighbour. She holds a poster saying she rather endure Boris as a neighbour than endure him as a PM. Therefore she is openly doing what she can to tarnish him name to attempt to stop him from being the PM. Yet people are blind to this. And those blind to this seems to be those who are anti Boris and anti Brexit. Enough said.

He doesnt have to come out and say anything. The facts are there. There was an argument. Police was called. Police say all is ok. It happens up and down the country. Its a non story. Why does he after to come out to discuss it further. And we all know whatever he will say, you will get people who won't believe it and will get some people picking the bones of his statement to bits to use it further to attack him. He just wants the non story gone and continually talking about it won't make that happen. The facts alone should be enough for everyone. He shouldn't have to discuss anything further about his private life. As you say, "why give them fuel to do it", making a statement will just add fuel to the fire.

Calling the police maybe a spontaneous action, whereas subsequently informing a national newspaper is definitely a calculated one.
