Not a knee jerk reaction but can anyone honestly see us beating Man City? I had a feeling we would lose today. What is going on at Utd because its a worry. Before we know it we will be 3rd in the league and with this loss I expect a horrible run of form. Against City I expect a draw or a loss against Wigan I expect a scrappy win and against Chelsea I expect a loss and against Liverpool I expect a draw. We will be out of the title race in 5 weeks time and I am 100% sure on that. There is too much dross in our midfield and I have had enough of it. Ferguson needs help and Mike Phelan is useless yes man. We need a number 2 who challenges the great man NOT a yes man. How does Manchester United have players like Carrick Fletcher and Gibson in it? Ferguson is either holding back some information about funds or he is being incredibly stubborn. This value rubbish is taking the Mick. We have 163.8m in the bank. Its just figures if its not used to address the dross we have. If Ferguson says the Glazers are holding him back then there will be a revolution but I feel its SAF who is not buying. Mark my words we will not win the league Arsenal now will flop like they always do and now its chelsea title to lose. I agree we are poor away but playing at OT i think we can and should beat anyone. As for the midfield yeah it is not great, but every team has its flaws. we will see who is right in the next few weeks anyway
Frankly you are lucky that Arsenal have been ****ing up all season long. They could be away and gone if they hadn't messed up against WBA, NUFC (twice), Spuds, Wigan...they have let you off the hook one of you will stumble over the line to the title

We were **** but I'm amongst the group who have said all season that our midfield is ****. Fergie (Malcolm Glazer) is happy with the said midfield so we have to continue watching them get played off the park every other week. Now we've lost, maybe people will see just how poor a midfield who can't maintain possession are. Doubt it though. So long as Fergie says he's happy, there is no problem.
We have been saying our midfeild is about as good as a choclate fireguard all year merry. But dont listen to us, were just moaning irrational old moaners. Oh No, wait a minitue, were not. There is some utter ****e being spouted on this post, firstly, give some credit to the likes of City ,Spurs, Sunderland, Blackpool, Stoke, Birmingham, Newcastle and Bolton for not allowing themselves to be bullied and out played by the likes of United, Chelsea and Arsenal like they (and a host of other teams) have for the majority of the premiership era, other teams have got tactically better and more hungry for success which has caused them to beat or draw with the top teams. A few weeks ago when we beat Blackburn 7-1 we were an amazing side who had great players and would march to the title 1 defeat (YES 1 DEFEAT!) later half the squad is dire and we're going to get beaten by City, the same City who put 10 men behind the ball at home to us in November and didn't dare cross the halfway line away at arsenal or Spurs earlier in the season, 1 lose doesn't mean the titles over you ****ing ******s!
Doesn't matter because everything is going swimmingly. Except, when we lose and protest, we're jumping the gun. No, our midfield is **** as we have said all along. We could have closed this league out by buying some competent midfielders but to suggest that is pie in the sky glory hunting nonsense apparently. Presumably Fergie felt the same way whilst breaking transfer records like confetti.
I suggest you take a chill pill and actually watch our away performanes this season! Better yet, I suggest you tell the teams you just name dropped to come all guns blazing against United and see how they do. Our midfield is crap, right, get that? Crap. If any team stands up to them, they will succeed. Have you watched us get outplayed away from home in midfield this year? It's pathetic. The same thing would happen at OT if opponents actually took it to us because, plain and simple, we are bollocks in midfield. Now, you can swear and rant at me if you want or you can watch our next away game and see our midfield (which requires no strengthening) get destroyed and still be silent. The only way you'll silence me is when our midfield can actually compete and that won't happen any time soon .
Exactly, tell you what, Im not looking forward to going to bridge to play chelsea now the have torres. Could be on the end of a spanking that day I am telling you.
We have a terrific attack and a defence that at first choice is the best in the world and in the likes of Evans and Smalling, can hopefully progress. But in midfield, we are bollox (bar Nani) and we are bound to suffer there. If idiots like me and Stretty can see we're weak in midfield, god knows what will happen when opposition managers realise this.
